HELP!!!
Well, as the title depicts, I am in dire need of help. My post can sound like I am looking for attention or that I am just deep in a vortex of self-pity but I really need help too. So, I belong to a very small city of Pakistan, and my education is average as well. I was a brilliant student, I would say till 12 standard. I was the topper of my city in 8th Standard (we have board exams in which different cities are combined, and they have a merit list based on that), and I also received a scholarship of 50PKR for that. I was also good at oration, but things went downhill I don't know how. My parents wanted me to become a dr but everything went downhill, and I burnt out. Well, long story short, I took admission in a Bachelor's of Applied Psychology in 2019, and my parents were against that, and they didn't pay a single dime. I used to work as a helper in people's homes in another city to afford my studies. My university was in different city and before you say I should have tried tutoring, i did and almost got graped well lets skip that all my 4 years I used to do cleaning at people houses after university and then covid came and then afterwards i switched working at call centres at night and then my mother got diagnosed with Liver cirrhoisis and all the responsibility was on me and in 2023 I completed my graduation (3.62/4.00), found no time to publish my research (it was a mediation study) and I took a gap. My mother was bedridden and she was totally dependent on me. I belong to a small city and people wouldn't even pay you 40USD monthly. So, my father is a government employee who earns 200 USD monthly, but he didn't support us. And then against all odds I took admission in DIPLOMA OF CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY, I got admission in masters of speech and language pathology as well but again I had no money and then I started working night shifts again. I used to go to university in the morning and work night shifts, and I completed that diploma in 2025. I applied for Erasmus WOPP-P, and I was rejected brutally. Now, my father wants to wed me off, and I don't want to get married. I am being engaged against my will, and I have currently run away from my home. I want to study, and I feel like my life got ruined because I was always supporting my family and never got the chance to just study and enjoy it. All my dreams got broken along the way. I want to apply now for Erasmus Cyberspace, behavior, and e-therapy. And I need your help to see if I can actually get selected for that. This is really a life-or-death situation for me, and I want to get out of this country. Please help me.

Profile Evaluation & Application Advice for Erasmus Mundus (PIONEER, MAPP, EUROCULTURE, etc.)
Hey everyone,
I’m a Public Administration graduate from the University of Dhaka planning to apply for Erasmus Mundus programs (specifically PIONEER, as well as MAPP, GOALS, EUROCULTURE, and others). I'd love to get some feedback on my profile and answers to a few specific questions about the application process.
Profile Overview
Education: BSS (Honours) in Public Administration | CGPA: 3.84/4.00 (Ranked 3rd in department)
Experience: 6 months as a Teaching Assistant (also organized departmental football and badminton tournaments in this role) Have 3 certificates in this regard issued by the department.
Leadership & Extracurriculars: General Secretary (1 yr) & Executive Secretary (1 yr) of the Departmental Earth Club. Organized winter relief, policy dialogues, plastic-free campaigns, etc. Have two certificates.
Volunteered 90+ hours during the 2024 Sunamganj flood response (certified).
Training: 1-month Social Science Research Training Programme (organized with the Social Planning Division, Govt. of Bangladesh). First aid training from Red cross and red crescent society BD. Have certificate.
Work/Financial: Self-funded my education through private tutoring for 4+ years.
Gaps: No conventional full-time work experience or published research papers.
Questions & Advice Needed
- General Profile & Strategy
Do applicants without formal professional experience or research publications have a realistic shot at Erasmus Mundus scholarships? Can a strong academic record compensate for this?
Should I list my tutoring experience as "Freelance Educator" under self-employed work on my CV, or could that be viewed negatively?
Is it worth mentioning being a first-generation university graduate?
Should I explicitly highlight my class rank (3rd) in my CV and Motivation Letter?
Multiple Applications: Does applying to 3–4 programs significantly increase scholarship odds, or is it better to focus deeply on just 1–2 highly aligned programs?
- PIONEER Specifics (Motivation Letter, Assignment & Interview)
Motivation Letter (1-page limit): How do successful applicants structure this? What hook or experiences tend to make a 1-page statement stand out?
Programme Assignment: What does the committee actually expect from this? How is it evaluated, and what common mistakes should be avoided?
Video Motivation & Interview: What kinds of questions are typically asked? What qualities do evaluators look for, and how can one prepare effectively?
- Practical Details & Documents
Are high school certificates/transcripts (SSC/HSC equivalent) usually required, or are university transcripts sufficient? Were there any unexpected document requirements that caught you off guard?
Honest Assessment: Based on this profile, is it worth applying in the upcoming cycle, or would it be wiser to spend a year building up full-time experience/publications first?
Thanks in advance for any insights!

MESPOM ELIGIBILITY (ERASMUS MUNDUS SCHOLARSHIP)
Hi,
I did my Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management in 2021. Since 2023, I have been working as a Human Resource personnel till date. Am I eligible to apply for the MESPOM course on Erasmus Mundus? What is the likelihood of my application being selected? I have always wanted to pursue higher studies in the environment field which is my undergraduate qualification.

Decode the Truth – Erasmus+ Youth Exchange

Decode the Truth – Erasmus+ Youth Exchange
Funded by: Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union
3-10.12.2025, Luoba, Lithuania:
From 3–10 December 2025, I took part in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Decode the Truth” in Luoba, Lithuania, with participants from Lithuania, Slovakia, Greece, Türkiye, Poland, Romania, and Georgia.
It was a very interesting and unique experience where we learned about media literacy, critical thinking, misinformation, and how to recognize reliable information. Through workshops, group activities, and discussions, I improved my knowledge, communication, and teamwork skills.
One of the best parts was the intercultural experience. Every day, one country cooked and shared its traditional food, which helped us discover different cultures, traditions, and tastes.
I am grateful for this opportunity, the amazing people I met, and the unforgettable memories created during the project.

Weak versus Strong LOM Openings
Many programmes are getting hundreds or thousands of applications. The LOM is your first and often only impression. You have one shot and just a few seconds to pull the reader in. I have seen a lot of weak openings, and worse, weak LOMs that are inappropriate or irrelevant.
I breakdown a weak versus strong LOM opening so you understand my analysis and why. I also share 10 crucial tips you must keep in mind when writing your LOM.
While the 2027 cycle has not launched yet, you can start brainstorming and strategizing now.
My next video will be an analysis of two LOMs in full.
