Discussion Speed AI on straight line

I've began playing F1, but AI insanely passes me on straight lines. Any ideas?

Low downforce setups and use your battery.

‘25 or ‘26? I know on ‘26 It’s because of their battery output, and the fact they never seem to lose battery percentage ever.

My battery recharge tends to freeze toward the end of laps, so I run out on the pit straight and the AI can swarm from behind. Idk what's up with that.
