Student journalist looking to talk with students about affording food (pantries, skipped meals, SNAP)

Hi all! I am a student journalist working on a story about how Florida college students are managing food costs. It’s part of a national reporting project on campus food insecurity.
I’d like to hear from students who have:

  • used a campus food pantry
  • skipped meals or cut back on groceries to cover rent, tuition or bills
  • lost SNAP benefits or had trouble qualifying
  • or just have thoughts on whether your school does enough

It’s a casual 15–20 minute chat, by phone or Zoom. TYIA!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO GIVE ME YOUR FULL NAME! Happy to just use your first name or initials if you are more comfortable that way.

Sorry for hijacking the post with this question, but there are campus food pantries? One at the Jupiter location? I don't qualify for snap, but also, times are tough 🙁

Yeah in the lobby of all the dorms and in the student union.
