I have no idea what age people think i am. Prior to T i was always aged 15 years younger than i was……. Now i have no clue

I would say 40s, but more like early 40s. Possibly late 30s. I'm in my mid-40s and routinely get people who tell me that they assumed I was in my early- to mid-30s. I just credit good genetics (accurate, to be fair, my mother also looks significantly younger than her age) and my near-religious commitment to moisturizing and using something with SPF 50 to do so.

In my area, only men under 35 have gauged ears. Imo if you are trying to look older, dressing like other 50 year old dudes would help.

The older I am, the more difficult is it to guess anyone’s age (34 in a week). I roughly see people as children (up to 16), kids (up to 22), older kids (up to 29), people of the same age (up to 45-50, here it depends incredibly on background, could be higher), real adults (up to 70-80, mostly based on the level of cognitive function degeneracy, which could possibly start somewhere around there), old people (ofc all borders are not strict, just very roughly estimated). It’s all very dependent on the potential level of “went through some shit” as well as overall vibe. You look like the same age category and definitely not the upper range of it (for me people older than me with some bodymods or nonconforming in other ways are usually perceived closer to “my age” than those without any since were more likely to be on the same page about fundamental views on things like human rights; my brain’s visceral reaction just goes “potentially friend shape”, can’t help it). It’s all absolutely subjective of course.

PS you look good and I’m also jealous about industrial, my flats are too unflat 😩

I don't think we need to be telling each other to smile. People can do whatever they want with their face. I get that smiling can brighten a person's face and of course is friendly, but it feels a little "you should smile more!" to comment that smiling would make OP look younger.

It wasn't meant that way. Looking younger isn't more desirable per se. OP asked what age people think he is, and I do think he probably looks even younger when not frowning. Make of that information what you will.

I would have guessed closer to my age (I’m almost 35) but a couple years older. At most I would have said early 40s but my guess would have been more like 37-39

I’m terrible at nailing down specific ages but I’d guess 40s to early 50s based on the quality of your skin. Ignoring that you might be anywhere from mid-30s to mid-50s.
