Took me a surprisingly long time to track all of them down

I've never read comics at all before. I am 2 episodes away from finishing the tv series and i am so in awe and appreciation with these characters.... do i just start from the beginning or ? lol could be the dumbest question ever

Lono’s new “family”–a kidnapped police officer and a teenaged murder suspect–aren’t going over so great with the alt-right militia he’s fallen in with. But as far as “trouble at home” goes, he’s got nothing on poor Elton, who’s just made a very unfortunate discovery in his father-in-law’s garage…

This is the last time Alison is featured in the comic. The next time she’s referenced is when an older, more senior Yorick has just missed her passing away, and he’s greeted by Rose instead.
I know he doesn’t get to say goodbye to her before she dies, but I find it hard to believe they never met again at all! Surely they crossed paths at some point. 😭

Just curious if anyone knows if/when the second compendium of The Unwritten will be released?

Thanks in advance :)

The new episode of my podcast, this week we talked the first 7 issues of Alan Moore's run on Swamp Thing. Please watch this, it's a good time, and we had a lot of gun making this.

Announced last year at New York Comic Con from DC Comics, amongst a number of new DC Vertigo comic books was Fanatic by Grace Ellis, co-creator of Lumberjanes, and Hannah Templer of Cosmoknights, in which a woman's obsession with a comic book spirals into a deadly parasocial fixation on its creator, and how such can warp your reality. It was scheduled for the summer of 2026. It did not come out.

At New York Comic-Con this year, it was re-announced alongside the existing Webtoon Canvas series, Dreambound, by "Sadie Wilson-Finley", now revealed as Ro Stein and Ted Brandt.

It started running at the beginning of September and has now been revealed to be a Vertigo comic all along.

...

And now Dreambound will be the comic within the Fanatic world and will appear as a flipbook in Fanatic in print.

Hello everyone! I’ve recently been getting into the Netlfix Series and had an inquiry about the comics given I’m considering buying them. I know The Presence is based off of the Christian/Jewish God. Which I am fine with as a christian myself, in fact I love medias that are inspired by christianity and various mythologies.. but I don’t like when the Lord’s name is used in vain for fictional characters. I am referring to the name Yahweh/Yhwh. I am aware the Lucifer comics use it and that’s the main reason I didn’t get them. So before I spend money on these, I have to know: Do the Sandman comics actually use that name?

thoughts?

A great post day! Happy to finally read these!

I’ve tried to get into Alan Moore’s swamp thing multiple times throughout my life but I always find parts of the story overcomplicated and hard to get into for my taste.

Parts like Vegetation Man and some other parts like a lot of characters being introduced here and there with bizarre powers, I don’t feel it’s as good of an introduction as people painted it as.
