Books/series recomendations

Just finished By Blood and By Salt and A Hount for Jackals (incredible books, go check it out). Looking for more realistic or low fantasy military series, napoleonic era style is welcome

Powder Mage by Brian McClellan, starting with Promise of Blood. Very Napoleonic in feel, it opens right after a coup, and the magic is mostly gunpowder. Fits next to Wexler nicely.

then the second trilogy is worth a go too. Sins of Empire jumps about ten years ahead to Fatrasta with Vlora in the lead, a bit more frontier than Napoleonic but the same powder mages

I haven't read it yet but it's on my tbr and seems like it fits what you're looking for: Shadow Campaigns series by Django Wexler

Napoleonic era? That was oddly specific. Only one I can think of is Shadow and bone, by Leigh Bardugo. It’s rather in a fantasy tsarist era, though.

I’ve not read it but have seen it recommended a lot, does powder mage fit the bill for what you’re looking for? Also, temeraire by Naomi Novik is like napoleonic era but if there was dragons.

Not the same but maybe silkpunk in Dandelion dynasty could be similar in feel.
