Richard the Lionheart and Nagao Kagetora.

Because of their association with feline beasts; Tiger for Nagao and Lion for Richard. Both have unusual mindsets and are seen as inhuman by the people around them.

Leonidas and Scathach. Literally thought about it in the shower one time.

a bit more of a serious one is Lancelot and Artoria, this is mainly because the potential "what ifs" that stem from it would be extremely fun to see play out. Like how the fall of camelot would have happened had it played out like that.

Cu chulainn and Francis Drake, i just think they're interactions would be fucking hilarious. Romantic or not they'd be funny ass drinking friends i'd say.

Siegfried x Mordred

I know they never even interact in Apocrypha, but something about them gives me rivals to lovers vibes. It's also probably the dragon associations they have. I even wrote a smut fic about them lol

Could be because Modred did fight a "Siegfried" and they were also both sabers.

Up to the writers rather Modred would have fight the orginal if he didn't take himself out earlier.

I used to ship Huyan Zhuo and Astolfo but realized they just don't really work.

Huang Feihu seems more like an onii Chan or father figure to her though since he's technically a father, girl really doesn't have any potential relationship who isn't already shipped with better options.

Man, I wonder if this is what EMIYA feels like whenever he has to watch Shirou. Remembering your younger self with immature thinking or train of thought feels cringe...
