Playing Stockton after a game losing fumble is probably not too bad. He might have some yips

Right and they have two weeks to think about it lol. Hope that means our guys have two weeks to get hyped about delivering another upset.

Them losing and us winning has to make the guys think they can actually win. I think that can only be good

Stockton doing his best Arch Manning impression. Three turnovers including a late fumble on what could have been game winning drive. I believe that was Kirby's first loss to an unranked team.
No doubt, this is a sign that Kirby is in decline due to the terrible eating habits, high cholesterol and long term brain damage from eating too many deep fried Moon Pies.

I feel personally attacked by the second half of this.

LOL. The comment is limited only to Kirblee. Everyone else can eat all the deep fried Moon Pies they want!

It’ll be better if Miami somehow loses. Those obnoxious fucks need to be humbled

Yes but if they win Norvell remains HC for the rest of the season and probably most of next year

Team meteor for me, but if I had to root for one of them… it would be Florida State.

When I was first getting into college football around 5th grade (not from a sports family), I remember being asked “are you a gator, Seminole, or hurricane?” I knew right away I wasn’t a ‘nole because all of the most obnoxious kids in my class were and the canes were dominating them at the time, so I chose the hurricanes. Of course when I was accepted to UF my allegiance immediately changed, but I have no problem rooting for the canes over the ‘noles.

Similar for me in 4th or 5th grade in FL. I had a close circle of friends (still do) and back then I had to choose an allegiance but I went with the Gators because they had just won the SEC in '84. IDGAF that it got stripped. I think I've still got one of those SEC champ Coke bottles somewhere. One of those friend's parents were both UF grads and had Gator stuff all over the house, I thought it was cool.
We are all still close and in fact one of my Noles fan friends from back then and now has an annual game day party that I still attend. It's probably 60/40 Noles but nothing was more fun even during the Napier years was to get that FSU win and Gator chomp those FSU fans in my boy's own house.
Of these 2 teams I'll be good if Miami wins because I'll be damned if I ever favor FSU. I'm kinda indifferent to UM although the most crushing Gator loss that I've been to in person was the Brock Berlin comeback in 2003.

Moved to FL from NY as a kid in ‘01 not really knowing how big of a deal college football was. One of the first things the other kids asked me in school was “Gator, Cane, or Nole?” Picked Gator because I loved Steve Irwin and never looked back.

Ya last year of conference championships and I want Miami to have never won the ACC

Miami fans bragging about their record, with the teams they played, is so annoying.

UGA hasnt lost back to back games since 2018. Of course we fall right into the spot of them coming off a loss. Nothing easy for us, ever.

u/OneEyedWonderWiesel 7h ago
Gators haven’t won against a ranked top 10 opponent on the road since 2012!
Oh wait

u/TimTebowismyidol 4h ago
Yeah idk if we can beat a team that was ranked #1 before we played them, when was the last time we did that?

Kirby has em fired up to play us every time anyways, normally I would agree I'd rather not have a strong opponent off a loss but honestly for UGA I don't think it matters.

Auburn winning and Ole Miss winning makes our wins against them look good to the voters.
Got 2 weeks to prep for Georgia and Auburn beat them in film. With Jones, we have a shot.

Actually, the eighties, when f s u and miami and the gators were all top, ten was the best time ever!

u/doobiepen 7h ago
I'm not rooting for UM to win, I'm rooting for FSU to lose. They are not mutually exclusive.

I worked at the Gator Shop across the street from the stadium about 15 years ago. The worst fan to ever come in to our store was a Miami fan. He talked and talked and talked until I asked him what year he graduated. Shut him up real quick, since he never even attended.

The last time we won and UGA lost on the same day was November 7, 2020, which is the last time we beat them. The last time it happened when we didn't play each other was October 13, 2018, when they lost to LSU and we had a comeback win at Vandy.

He's supposed to be some kind of offensive mastermind but their offense is erratic and usually pretty flat against any decent teams. I get it.

Idk. I'm always happy when Georgia loses. Yhe world is better for it.
But since Miami and FSU can't both lose, I want FSU to win. I want that coach to stay with them forever and ever. Besties for the resties. Stategery.
I don't think people realize how obnoxious Miami is.
I am also happy Bama lost.

Losing by 3 is hardly “getting whipped” but yes any time UGAy loses is good for the universe. Wild day for college football all around today

Actually would have like to see Miami get beat. They are the problem on the rise in Florida and we can’t let them regain their prominence..

We’re going to have to bring the heat, Jon is getting the rare chance to face Georgia after a loss.
