BUTTERCREAM Buttercream Three Tier Cigarette (Plus Ashtray)

Post image

Howdy everyone!

I baked a cigarette shaped cake for my old man's 12 year anniversary of quitting smoking, iced entirely with buttercream and writing done with Queens writing icing. (It's a little dodgy but I'm quite chuffed with the way it turned out and I'm sure he'll get a kick out it)

Congrats krankykorn's dad! That's no small feat. Your kid also made an awesome cake without fondant, so today's a double-win for you!!

Hahaha I thought band-aid to be honest but it is a tad phallic

The lettering is an achievement almost as big as not smoking for that long. As someone who quit and has held hands with and supported those quitting later I truly celebrate this for you and would eat that cake

Haha awhh thank you! Pro tip for that writing icing is to let it sit with the cap on in hot water to make squeezing it out easier. It sounds like you've come a long way and have been a great support to others on their journeys too, keep up the amazing work and maybe you could make a celebration cake as well ☺️

Oh I couldn't but I am a blind Quadriplegic so the frosting would probably end up on the cat. I know my limits and I celebrate the successes of others. Either way I get cake right? Also yes my cat would help and that would be worse. He is a good baby but he doesn't always understand why he doesn't get to do it for me for some stuff. "But I do things for Meowmy" is probably his protest whenever something requires working thumbs
