OMG, that was AMAZING, Dave!!!!! I'm SO happy for you.. you wereclbbeaming so bright ear to ear getting to fulfull one ofvyour dreans... and happy for me getting to be stageside for that. It was crazy amazing for all of us fans in the audience. I've always loved AC DC ...you....theFF'S... but I swear THAT stage wifh both of ya' was ibdesribable. The biggest, coolest, most unusual party was happening out there anong us in a way I just cannot explain well enough to make others understand and FEEL it. Ill try because I'll never forget the single most awesome audience party ever had during a concert EVER.
You had us long-standing 55 plus older faithful rockers who NEVER miss AC DC and travel to see them whereever thWy go every year tthey tour. ....we can finally afford it, so we aint missin' them for NITHIN' now! We are older with crickety bodies, but we can sure get it for our tunes.
Then ya' had our young adult children rockin' there with us screaning your name. (Some of them ecen had THEIR kids rockin there for the FF's). Anyway, our kuds grew up hearing us playn OUR AC DC, sure, but you grew up with oyr kids We watched them grow up bangin' their heads to Nirvana. We ALL BLENDED that night and partied together!!!! Thank you for that, Dave!!! Now me, I loved Nirvana, too, as a young Mom. Id immitate my kids' head banging over the years. Some of thw older rockers did not apprecuate THE LOUDNESS of Nirvana or how guys had our kids screaming, " RAPE ME!!!!!"
But, man, how we alll blended and shared memories spanning 50 years... memories of BOTH groups. I just can't explain the electricity in that audience right there in St.Louis. Now we all wear FF'S, AC DC, ..( and, me, NIRVANA). WE SPENT OUR LIFE SAVINGS ON APPARREL, YOU SEE. I HAD TO GET EVERY SHIRT I LIKED standing in 3 lines for hours on end .. IT WAS QUITE A SPECIAL NIGHT SO I'D DO IT AGAIN!!!!! YEAH!!!!
As your longest-standing, most faithful fan (you specifically), you know I love you.. i also love AC DC.. I love you even more for stepping up to help AC DC and especually for making tha incredibke, monumentous night what it was.
