Today’s update cracks open the Rifts with the new Challenge the Rift Mission encounter, kicks off the Portal Combat Questline and welcomes Grave Feather, Homebase’s newest Hero. Lefty and Righty got faster and stronger, Heroic Hours got their own corner in Homebase and a fresh round of bug fixes got squashed. Details below!

You must have wondered at least once what those Rifts scattered across the world are for. Wonder no more!
When in a Mission, deposit four BluGlo into one to summon a battlefield around it and face a Mini-Boss inside the circle, showdown style. Take it down to claim Gold, PERK-UP! and an Evolution Materials Cache.
Know before you aggravate a Rift:

The Rifts are definitely acting up… Strange monsters are slipping through, the Storm’s energy is leaking out - and in Hexsylvania, even the local Zombie Chickens are getting infected. Complete the Portal Combat Questline by November 18 to unlock Grave Feather, Homebase’s newest Hero.
Don’t worry… it’s only a nightmare. This Legendary Soldier boosts Lefty and Righty’s Crit Rating, with a chance to summon a Phantasm to hunt down nearby enemies.
Standard Perk: Ghoulslinger
Increases Lefty and Righty Crit Rating by 15.
Commander Perk: Ghoulslinger+
Increases Lefty and Righty Crit Rating by 45. Crits have a 40% chance to summon a Phantasm, dealing Energy damage to a nearby enemy.

The pistols come out faster, and they stay out longer! We’ve reworked the ability’s uptime Perks to allow you to use it more frequently without the elimination part:
These targeted buffs bring both Perks in line with their Goin’ Commando counterparts - “Goin’ Again” and “Ain’t Done Yet”.
Heroic Hours now have their own corner in Homebase! You’ll find a new display above the Quest Log board, showing what Heroic Hours are happening and exactly how long remains on the clock.

Something’s knocking at the Door of Darkness, and a ghost named Willow wants to keep it shut. Complete the Questline to earn Gold, Candy and the Willow Hero.
Willow
This Legendary Outlander from the Fortnitemares Heroes set hits harder the closer she is to becoming a ghost herself - her ability damage rises as her health drops.
Standard Perk: Ghoulish Cackle
Increase ability damage based on the percentage of your missing health.
Commander Perk: Ghoulish Cackle+
Increase ability damage based on the percentage of your missing health. In addition, ability eliminations have a chance to conjure a Phantasm, dealing Energy damage to a nearby enemy.

Grave Digger, or Pain Train?

I was playing a mission and afterwards got a message from a player on said mission that just said:
"Stop using defenders"
Past experience taught me to not seriously engage with someone online if they are mad/serious enough to message you about something like this.
Still I figured I would check in here to make sure I'm not totally screwing up or something. Just for reference I was doing the Stonewood level 5 "rescue the survivors" mission as someone who is power level 132. I was just doing my dailies and did fill because I wanted the mission to go faster. So regardless if I had defenders or not I doubt they really made a difference either way with this mission.
Is using defenders bad or is this guy just mad about something that really does not matter at the end of the day?

I have no clue what went through Epic's head when they just randomly allowed the Starter Packs to be obtainable through birthday llamas 3 months after the anniversary event, it's actually absurd.

5 second cooldown is way better than what was possible before.

I played some this time last year, but moved on. Just started back a month ago and now it's all I want to play.

I'm trying to make a good Teddy Build, and I saw some people recommending Jingle Jess, others saying Cyberclops. What would y'all recommend, and what supporters??

Wouldn't it be so hype if say, Geno reached out to Homebase or the stw reality for his perfect reality and after choosing to accept or deny his request ( the connection is severed and lost between us and him so the choice doesn't matter) we get him as a mythic hero. What do y'all think he would do?

In retrospect, I should have started a new 1hr session before going in 😅 I was stressed that it would close the entire time
Regardless, I'm glad my GeForce Now had mercy on my first ever Dungeons attempt, less than a minute to spare (I think I tried one a long time ago with a friend, but we never finished)

Share your opinions on mythic heroes here, I'm interested in this discussion. Personally mine are the Master Swordsman Ken, Mega Base Kyle and Ragnarok

Some more concepts. Skin suggestions would be nice.

Since the Hestia Homebase is here to stay, I feel its better to give ways to improve it rather than just begging for its removal. I decided I might as well give my two cents on how I'd go about improving Homebase in its current state.
Decorative Items
There should be a way to customize Homebase. currently there's really nothing to do inside other than use it as an interactive menu (which is helpful to newer players, but useless to experienced ones). A way to make it a bit more interesting is to create new types of craftable items, that can be placed around an empty Homebase. Maybe the survivors you get can walk around too, using the decorative objects you've placed around, just to make it feel a bit more alive.
Decorative items can also make missions a bit more fun for those who like building. Just something to add more life to the game than making everything purely functional. There were those who were very disappointed when sprays weren't allowed to be placed on user structures anymore, so this would be a nice compromise I feel.
Outside Area
I think it would be preferred by many if you had just a general outdoors area in Homebase. Maybe the interior of Homebase could be static and functional, but outside you can free-build, place decorative items, and just generally hang out. While the Storm Shield areas kind of fulfil this, they're far more based on functional building with things like Wargames, and your builds aren't really too safe because of it. Homebase could be a place for players to relax and just have fun in a little sandbox before going back into missions. It could even utilize your resource storage and let you stockpile building materials for different projects.
Dialogue
Although I'm aware most of STW's voice actors are sadly not coming back for a number of reasons, it would at least be nice to have some more flavor text with the NPCs roaming around. Doesn't even have to be voice acted, just some text-only dialogue like in the Odyssey and Brick Life gamemodes.
These are just my personal thoughts, and if anyone else has some suggestions I'd love to read them personally. I understand how strained the team is currently but I hope that they at least take some feedback regarding Hestia, and don't just scrap it entirely.

First of all, I'm grateful for the new Lefty and Righty hero plus the rework to that ability to be relatively equal to Going Commando.
I'd ask the next hero specifically for a Dragon Slash ninja because it's one of the most popular AoE husk clearing abilities while only having 4 ninjas that buff it in some way.

I must confess that I didn't want to clean screenshots of the game off the characters and their skills, so the layout of STW Hero screen you can see here was reproduced in around 30 iterations as an HTML file which is a customizable template by AI assistant Qwen (I'm not done refining the layout yet, but I'll continue in the morning, which starts for me a few hours after the end of Suggestion Saturday in the (presumably) mods' time zone (I'm already few hours into Sunday in my time zone)). The code for HTML file was mostly written by Qwen (mostly, but not entirely, I had to fix it quite a few times), the idea and text of the Perks are mine and the image of Luffy is taken from some site.

(EDIT: FIXED! Solution was to switch from DX12 to DX11)
Been happening for a few months now, but i got around it using the xbox app until i recently found out you cant fix your audio settings on the xbox version for some stupid reason so I redownloaded the one from epic in spite of it and... as the video shows.
Been trying to get around this for a while, but to no avail. This is a clean, fresh download. I verified the files multiple times. Nothing.
If anyone knows a fix, it would be gladly appreciated. I work quite a bit and just want to play some video games when I get home and I just cant. Help a guy out?

So I got the game back again recently to play more STW and I have been trying to access and work on my Twine peaks storm shield. But for some reason it will not at all let me load into my own shield, it keeps kicking me out and I am worried that I wont be able to access it again.
In the past I have been able to but for some reason now I cannot access it anymore... Does anyone know a way around this or a way to fix it? Or is it a common issue that will be fixed and worked on? Because it is extremely irritating and overall annoying.
If anyone can help or let me know if they are having issues as well it would be greatly appreciated :)
