Any recent GSU students who know where the nice apartments are for a good price

Hello, I am sophomore looking for a new apartment place to stay in before I have to renew my lease. Is there anywhere that offers a good one bed one bath for like 1000 or less for rent and if not 1000 is there any place else other than Cambridge bc Cambridge isn’t bad but I would like to see if there’s somewhere I could stay by myself first.

You couldn’t find a 1 bd/ 1 bh for less than 1200 in 2016. A decade later & $200 cheaper? Good luck.

When i was looking last year iirc Hendley Properties had one or 2 1b/1ba places for 1000. Idk how nice those are but if you're willing to go up to 1100 (assuming the prices stay the same) they have several Properties that offer duplex style townhomes that are pretty nice. Just keep in mind all utilities are on you and they arent furnished.

I rent w/ them and they're pretty nice. Only complaints are maintenance requests can take a while to get fixed sometimes and I had a few issues with stuff when I moved in. But again, it's a pretty nice place.

Other than that there's Copper Beach which I saw last year for ~1000 but they can be a mixed bag either fine or pretty bad.

I also looked at Garden district who had studios for 750. I didn't tour them though so idk how nice they are. They're pretty small but dont have a full kitchen (kitchenette) or a washer or dryer (they have a communal laundry for studios).

If you want to ask me other questions or want to know places I researched last year lmk. Was looking for something similar.

For comparison, my 1 br at Monarch went up to almost 1800 per month after being there for 2 years. I could no longer afford it comfortably, nor could I justify this price. Such crap for an aging building. I switched to online campus and moved back home for my last year. I will be able to save money and perhaps graduate debt free.
