Saw another post about how big the release of GTA:SA was back in 2004. Went back to the archives and found some images from the weekend. We had 3 copies and was playing simultaneously for the whole weekend.

The vice city wall poster in fabric is still in my basement. Maybe I should find it for the GTA:VI release and hang it on the wall again

Hopefully it’s a fully exploratory prison even if it’s not very large. I’m hoping the prison section lasts for a while (maybe like an hour to an hour and a half). Hopefully it has a weight yard, a food hall, and an actual cell to stay in that would be ideal. What do you guys think; this just be for one mission?

Franklin can buy a taxi company Downtown Cab Co, and I wondered, is he using this business as money laundering and creating a taxi monopoly in the city, because absolutely all taxis will carry him for free, in fact, making it clear that all taxis are now under the control of Franklin, your versions?

I've heard a few theories that Jason might be working w/ Merryweather as a Mercenary!

That is a vibe I can totally fuck with. However, there's one thing that's been lingering in my head...

The only real enemies that I know of for Merryweather (outside of killing people during their security contracts) is Trevor. It's the only real enemy that completely embarrassed them and made those mercenaries look like fools. Trevor killing a lot of their friends AND got away with it.

Merryweather wasn't very frightening in GTA 5. Yet, I suppose they weren't supposed to be. However, they did provide some of the more challenging shootouts...

But, what if we get a mission for these mercenaries to extract information from a captured target. And we enter a room just to see a heavily mutilated man in a chair. Beaten. Body parts missing. No eyes. Just horrifically disfigured. And as we get closer to this man, we realize that it is Ron from GTA 5. What seems like a simple "side distraction" mission, is an operation to brutally dismantle TPI Industries and perhaps even "deal with" Trevor. And I mean, deal with Trevor in such a way that would make the player fear AND respect Merryweather. And perhaps it would set up Merryweather as a possible antagonist. An antagonist that might be a lot more frightening this time around...

edit: If they operated within GTA 6, it would have to be what are called "grey-area contracts" or illegal operations. Which would essentially turn Merryweather into a bunch of criminals. And they'd be risking a lot. So if they did operate in Vice City. They'd have to REALLY be after something. Credit to Own-Papaya for pointing out they lost the ability to legally operate in the US.

I just picked up Liberty City Stories but it says Double pack on it but there's only one disc spot? I tried searching Google but the only thing I found was someone saying "It goes with this" with an eBay link that wasn't active anymore.

My wife is convinced that the GTA community as a whole thinks that Vice City is the best but I KNOW it’s between San Andreas and 4! Which one of us is right?! (My personal favorite is 5 with SA as a close second)

Now Jason might actually be outside of gen Z birth years, but then again that would make him at least 30 years old, which is not impossible but seems more likely that he is in his late 20s, as for Lucia she pretty much has to be gen Z.

Edit: I just realised that GTA 6 will be first R* game to feature gen Z characters in general, since GTA 5 is set in 2013, when oldest gen Z was 16 year old, but GTA do not feature children and of course RDR 2 is set in 19th century.

Many things have stood in the way of Rockstar and GTA VI but we're finally in the clear.

Leaks, lawsuits, and delays couldn't stop it. GTA VI is finally here.
