How long will the aflw persist with our coach?
I get he is popular with the players allegedly etc but bro it’s so hard to invest your care and attention every season with little to no improvement. I want to enjoy watching again but every week it’s the same thing.
I don’t understand why we won’t just make the change it’s clearly not working.

Agree - about 3 years ago he said this was the season that would define them and it has been the same ever since. Being back Alan

Oh right, I must have misunderstood HAHAHA that’s even more annoying because I thought he was being kept around for that reason or something 😫.

I heard some people like him and others don’t
I also heard he was popular at school

Clearly something has to change and it’s usually the coach that gets the axe. Am sure he’s a nice bloke and all but baffling he’s survived this long

Seriously, especially after multiple 1-2 win seasons in a row like that after consecutive 4-win seasons? At some point you gotta pack it in and start fresh, because there’s no shame in that, but there is some shame in seeing how could this team theoretically could be compared to how good they actually are.

The season is short no one wants to come to the giants. Is it a coach or personnel problem …. It’s the latter always has been except for the Staunton era

I don’t have a thorough understanding, but I believe it could be a personnel issue. Sadly, the women’s game is far more developed in the “AFL states” and because they’re not getting paid much, you won’t get many quality female players move to NSW to play. That said, the Swans have done much better since they’ve been in the competition!

Well late last season they extended his contract until the end of this season, then in april this year extended another 2 years until the end of 2028 so uhh could be a while.
3 wins out of the past 30 games, no finals appearances, and if he fulfills his contract he’ll be one of the longest serving W coaches…
