Just found it interesting i didn’t receive my letter until sep 22 of last week and i had to hunt Brittany down for it
okay i just called the nursing program and the person who answered the phone said NOVEMBER 1st. she said they've just started reviewing the applications. this is all really confusing.
And that’s where I was confused about! When I spoke to Brittany, she said that they were going to consider me for the second round, but I’m like wait? I thought there was only one round of application decisions? I guess she’s counting on people losing their seats if they don’t complete their classes before January cohort starts or deny their seat because they got accepted into another school.
People who got admitted have until today to accept their seat. So yes there is a second round because there will be spots to fill if people don't accept the seat.
ugh...this is a killer. does this mean that people who didn't get in won't get an email letting them know they didn't get accepted? or is that just for those who were waitlisted?
I would go up to the school or call Brittany until she answers if I were you. I went up to the school September 15, they told me Brittany was out of town and that they were still sending out emails but when I finally got a hold of Brittany on September 22. She told me that all emails have been sent out on August 28 even though I never received mine she had to call one of the nursing board advisors to check out my application because there wasn’t a decision next to my name.
I’m applying for their ASN program. I also applied to Georgia Piedmont College and if I’m desperate enough, I might consider South College but they are very sketchy to me so I’m not sure. If I don’t get admitted by November 1, then I might just wait out and apply again for the fall semester. A lot of these schools require you to take your TEAS exam on their campus to apply even though I just took mine in June
Hey! I have an update for anyone that has been “waitlisted” I just went up to the Clarkson location and spoke to a nursing advisor her office is at the end of the hallway. I believe they are remodeling right now so no one was there besides her. I was trying to get the current status of my GPA in classes and just trying to make sure that they all updated before and if they do end up doing a second round of admissions if students were to declined their seats/not pass their classes. So when I told her about the waitlisted she looked at me confused and told me there is no such thing as waitlisted either you were admitted or denied and that she’s never heard that terminology before. I showed her my email and as she was reading it. She was just shaking her head like she’s never seen this type of email go out so she can see where I got confused from but from her understanding there’s no such thing. I told her well if students declined their seats or don’t pass their classes what do you do with those seats? She told me and then they will go down that list, but even then she doesn’t know where I would fall on that list. To me, that was kind of contradicting if she told me that she’s never heard of a waitlisted list before. She told me to just email Brittany Jackson at the PC nursing email, but the thing is, I’ve been emailing that email and haven’t gotten a response that’s why I drove 45 minutes to get some answers. Also, added that Renée’s position has still not been filled so that’s probably why it’s been so hectic. So guys here’s my update. I’m just a little bit confused about the email that was implying the waitlisted and if they were to do a second round, we would know by November 1? Has anyone heard anything else?

i've heard nothing. office told me "by october 1st". the anxiety is killing me.
