General The homeless man from the dining hall incident was a STUDENT and graduated last year
This man is notorious for creeping around aderhold, the student center, and now the Piedmont central dining hall. In 2019 he was arrested at the Atlanta campus library for being derogatory and harassing female students. Several years later and he’s still here doing the same thing, and obviously he needs serious help. Finding this information is saddening but also disturbing, and I wanted to bring more awareness to this because no one else seems to be talking about it.

A reminder that the counseling center provides free therapy to students…

I mean they do but it's slow. My son did an intake with them on Monday and 5 days later he hasn't received an appt with a therapist. I ended up taking him to one with my insurance today.

I love 💙 that. Probably was available when I was there in the aughts. Wish I would have known though! 🫣 We can all get a little crazy. Hope this dude can see he needs the help.

I’m so saddened by this. There’s really nothing Medicine can do yet in addressing this issue. My understanding. Hopefully 🙏🏽, I’ve got it wrong 😑

Studies have came out that these are mostly BS and don’t really help sadly
Way I’ve heard it described is drop a bottle of water and then drop a bottle of water wrapped in a towel. Water moves the same if not more. CTE is caused by your brain swooshing around not necessarily the direct impact or contact

I'm hoping that researchers were at least on the right track with this method, since the lab tests were REALLY promising (even though adoption by players was minimal even when it looked like these were lifesavers). It hasn't worked out as well in actual play, but maybe it points to something that will.

I hope he gets the help he needs and that GSU does what it needs to do to protect students.

This so sad. Why isn't GSU using their resources to help this alumni? Nobody deserves this. He needs a crisis team

They are talking about it but it appears no one is really doing anything about it. It is sad

u/procrastinatrixx 1d ago
I don’t think GSU prepared him for a successful life, he was on the football team so his body and brain got run through for someone else’s profit, now he’s cooked

Please PLEASE seek help if you are on a path like this. It’s never too late. Absolutely not condoning this man’s actions but this is so so sad to see.

CTE all day long.

u/rosaxan 1d ago
As soon as i saw he played football. yeah.. 🙁

I know that’s the go to, but I wish people would stop jumping to that conclusion. Sometimes people just lose it. Plus, PEDs or drugs can really mess people up.

u/rosaxan 1d ago
Well apparently he has some posts on his facebook about getting a head injury while playing football he also said he thinks he has cte himself.

Sadly, the only way to confirm CTE is via autopsy. Also, having a head injury doesn’t guarantee CTE. I just think it’s far more dangerous and less helpful to jump to a conclusion like that. Either way, he very clearly needs help.

GSU needs to do something about security same thing just happened at the Decatur campus. I mentally ill person coming on to campus. Being belligerent, taking photos of student, screaming refusing to leave

He was also arrested last July for disorderly conduct, battery, assault, and terroristic threats

Turns out he also got arrested in July for assault. Definitely shows the jail is not the solution to this. As I said previously in another post Atlanta needs more mental health resources and affordable housing. I also wonder what happened to his family, but having someone struggling can be very tough especially if he gets violent, but it’s sad to see the downward cycle. Also being unhoused also tends to make people go more crazy.
I heard from many friends during the World Cup all of those unhoused were gone but appeared right after it ended which goes to show they’ll only do it if there’s the money or economic interest for it. Sadly downtown will sadly get the short end of the stick but GSU does try to help a bit, but at the same time that isn’t the universities job.

Can we start go fund me

u/HalfRatTerrier 11h ago
It probably would be an almost revolutionary move to somehow start a source of funds and resources for the mental health of a school's former students. 🤔

This goes to show that some of these people you see on the Internet posting about their college degrees are doing absolutely nothing with it…
A degree is only as good as what you do with it.

he has CTE, prob caused by football. it’s unfortunate he will never be able to do anything with his degree.

The real reason is probably addiction. CTE can be possible at his age, but it is kind of debatable. Please stop excusing all bad behavior with it's mental health, get him the help he needs.

u/hopstop5000 1d ago
He played football in 2016 but graduated in 2025?? Maybe that’s the problem. 9 year plan and still doesn’t want to leave campus.

Ofc the attacker considered himself to be holy. The religious are the violent ones
