montgomery county, Maryland Rockville looking for dnd lovers and homebrew lovers

Hello adventurer,

Are you looking for a story? Do you have a detailed backstory? Are you looking for adventure, horror, action and fantasy? Are you new to the game? Everyone is welcome at my table! I’m thinking about a campaign of dnd 5e(the old 5e), about zombies, vampires, biological abominations, mutants and more!

I’d like to stress my favorite things about dnd is the storytelling aspect, then action and then traps! I would love people who have medium to long backstories so that I can create a giant campaign in Faerun, possibly the underworld and the land of the Fae! I love huge campaigns that are “supposed” to be long term campaigns but we know how that goes sometimes!

I’d like to also say, I’d like to use original races and classes; Human, Elf, dwarf, half orc, gnome, halfling and barbarian, ranger, fighter, wizard, sorcerer, monk, cleric, rogue and paladin!

If you’re interested in the dangers, the excitement, the horror, and the suspense of a homebrew campaign where anything can be and will be thrown at you please inquire within!

Good Luck adventurer,

Silvas Leafblade
Head of the royal guard

Gaithersburg City Council Votes to Delay Approval of $25 Million to Build a New City Hall

All of these major capital projects that the city is doing with those buildings on Summit are interesting. Buildings that were largely vacant are now owned by the city and the city is paying 10s of millions of dollars to renovate all of these buildings because the old historic city hall is too small? Wouldn’t it have been cheaper to just rent space in the buildings since they were looking for tenants?

Approval carried one condition, which is that the applicant must provide storm drain computations and a drainage area map for all provided storm drains before Public Works gives its final signature approval.

Join Montgomery Parks Vegetation Management Staff and help us plant over 400 native plugs (baby plants) in two meadows where we have been actively controlling non-native invasive plants. The plants will be supplied by our very own Pope Farm nursery! We may also work on cutting invasive vines and shrubs in the area.

There are two upcoming opportunities where we need volunteers!

  1. Rachel Carson Conservation Park in Olney - Tuesday, October 20 from 9:30 to 11:30 am
  2. Sign up: https://montgomeryparks.org/events/weed-warrior-planting-at-rachel-carson-conservation-park-meadow/
  3. Washington Grove Conservation Park in Gaithersburg - Wednesday, October 28 from 10 am to 12 pm
  4. Sign up: https://montgomeryparks.org/events/volunteer-planting-washington-grove-meadow/

Thank you to all our volunteers!

Costco...now with biscuits!

Costco's take on buttermilk biscuits finally arrived at the G'burg location this week! They are pretty darn good...and huge. Ten for $6.99, if I am remembering correctly. They are in the bakery section, i.e., not frozen/refrigerated biscuits.

I need a cleaning person

I need to engage someone to clean my 800-sq-ft Montgomery Village apartment once a month. My budget doesn't stretch to an agency. Does anyone know a good cleaning person who works independently and does a good job for their clients?
