Hell I have a 2070 super and it runs every game I can think of at Ultra settings, if I have problems it’s a bottleneck elsewhere.

Same. Then I see people talking about how their 3080 is outdated and they NEED to upgrade and I wonder wtf they’re doing

Yeah the only way they need an upgrade is if they are doing some studio level rendering for a big company or something.

3080 struggles on a lot of modern 4K games.

So 4K? That’s a big outlier though, most people don’t play 4K

The performance hit gaming at 4k isn't worth it unless you're gaming on a large TV.

who games at 4k? lol its nearly indistinguishable from 2k at every screen size below 70 inches.

This. Even at 1440p some games will tax it

I still have my 2060 lol I don’t play tons of super graphic intensive games BUT I would if I could run them better. I still haven’t beaten RDR2 because I wanted to experience it with better graphics.

My 2070 super has been super resilient.

Ace Combat 8 is a really heavy game and I can still run it with a mostly consistent framerate.

I definitely am planning to get a replacement soon since it is starting to chug on some particle effect heavy games like Path of Exile 2.

The 2070 Super is the first graphics card I ever owned. I really love that card. It was just fantastic performance for the money at the time when I bought it (beginning of 2020).

The more powerful cards are only really going to come into play if you want eother very high framerates (120+) or resolutions higher than 1080

I assume 1080p? Because I have a 2080 and no way does it do Ultra settings at QHD resolution any longer. Not in new games that is.

Well, glad you are feeling that way :)

I can try to compare, from another point of view.

I have a 4080. And when u play Deadlock, I have betweeen 200-300 FPS and in really big teamfights I have around 140 fps.

Where , if I could I would like to have 500 :D
