[MKUltra] Schizophrenia (𝒫 ≈ +2, ℬ ≈ −2, 𝒯 ≈ 0/fragmented) / PTSD (𝒫 ≈ +1.5, ℬ ≈ +1, 𝒯 ≈ −2.5)
Contextual Framework: https://github.com/TaoishTechy/Drops/blob/main/Unified%20Theory%20of%20Degens%200.3.md
Framing caveat: These are novel theoretical hypotheses generated by structural analogy within the Degens framework. The historical MKUltra record supplies the methods; the 𝒫/ℬ/𝒯 framework supplies the mechanism; the correlations are the novel synthesis—not causal claims.
Framework coordinates: - Schizophrenia: (𝒫 ≈ +2, ℬ ≈ −2, 𝒯 ≈ 0/fragmented) — noise weighted as signal, self–world boundary dissolved, temporal axis fragmented - PTSD: (𝒫 ≈ +1.5, ℬ ≈ +1, 𝒯 ≈ −2.5) — trauma hyperprecision, rigid protective boundary, past-locked
Both are encoding-disorder profiles, but they sit at opposite ends of the boundary axis and different temporal failure modes: schizophrenia fails at reality/source monitoring (too porous, too precise), PTSD fails at contextual integration and extinction (too rigid, too past-locked).
Part 1 — 12 novel insights: memory encoding in Schizophrenia & PTSD
| # | Insight | Mechanism (𝒫/ℬ/𝒯) | Testable prediction / lever |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Schizophrenia is an aberrant salience encoding disorder: noise is encoded with signal-level precision. | 𝒫 ≈ +2: prediction errors are weighted as high-precision, so irrelevant stimuli are encoded as meaningful. | Predicts encoding of task-irrelevant stimuli correlates with delusion severity. Lever: salience-calibration training. |
| 2 | Schizophrenia’s source-monitoring failure is an encoding-time failure, not a retrieval-time failure. | ℬ ≈ −2: self-generated and externally-generated events are not demarcated at encoding, so the trace itself lacks a source tag. | Predicts encoding-phase (not retrieval-phase) manipulations improve source attribution. Lever: action–perception logging. |
| 3 | Schizophrenia shows hyper-associative encoding: everything binds to everything, so nothing is contextually distinct. | High 𝒫 + low ℬ → over-binding of features across contexts; the trace is rich but undifferentiated. | Predicts false-memory susceptibility is elevated but qualitatively different from PTSD (associative vs. gist-based). Lever: context-differentiation training. |
| 4 | PTSD is an over-consolidation disorder: the trauma trace is encoded with excessive precision and fails to decay. | 𝒫 ≈ +1.5 on threat + 𝒯 ≈ −2.5 past-lock → the trace is re-encoded as present with high gain. | Predicts reconsolidation-blockade (not extinction alone) is the mechanism-matched intervention. Lever: timed reconsolidation disruption. |
| 5 | Schizophrenia’s temporal context failure is global; PTSD’s is content-selective. | Schizophrenia: 𝒯 fragmented across all domains; PTSD: 𝒯 intact for neutral events, past-locked only for trauma-congruent events. | Predicts a double dissociation on temporal-context binding tasks: schizophrenia impaired across the board, PTSD impaired only for threat-congruent material. Lever: domain-specific timestamp repair. |
| 6 | PTSD fails to encode safety signals; schizophrenia fails to encode irrelevance. | PTSD: 𝒫 high on threat, near-zero on safety; schizophrenia: 𝒫 high on noise, near-zero on irrelevance. | Predicts opposite encoding profiles: PTSD over-encodes threat cues and under-encodes safety; schizophrenia over-encodes noise and under-encodes irrelevance. Lever: safety-signal encoding (PTSD) vs. irrelevance-filtering (schizophrenia). |
| 7 | Schizophrenia’s working-memory gate is too open; PTSD’s is too narrow. | Schizophrenia: 𝒫 ≈ +2 → too much enters, nothing consolidates; PTSD: 𝒫 ≈ +1.5 threat-gated → only threat-consistent material enters. | Predicts opposite WM-load effects: schizophrenia performance degrades with any load; PTSD performance degrades only with threat-congruent load. Lever: gated-load training. |
| 8 | PTSD’s fragmented encoding is sensory-perceptual without narrative; schizophrenia’s is narrative without perceptual grounding. | PTSD: high 𝒫 on sensory detail, low 𝒯 integration; schizophrenia: high 𝒫 on narrative/semantic associations, low ℬ grounding. | Predicts opposite fragmentation signatures: PTSD recalls vivid sensory fragments without a story; schizophrenia recalls a story without sensory grounding. Lever: sensory-narrative reintegration. |
| 9 | Schizophrenia shows encoding-without-ownership: the trace is encoded but not tagged as self-generated. | ℬ ≈ −2: the Markov blanket fails, so internally-generated content is encoded as external. | Predicts self-generation encoding paradigms (e.g., self-produced vs. experimenter-produced words) show the strongest deficit in schizophrenia. Lever: ownership-tagging protocols. |
| 10 | PTSD shows encoding-without-extinction: the safety trace is never written because the threat trace dominates the encoding gate. | 𝒫 high on threat → safety signals never reach the precision threshold for encoding. | Predicts safety-signal encoding is impaired even when safety is explicitly presented, and improves only when threat precision is pharmacologically or behaviorally lowered. Lever: threat-precision reduction before safety exposure. |
| 11 | Schizophrenia’s reality-monitoring failure and PTSD’s flashback are inverse failures of the same timestamp system. | Schizophrenia: timestamp never written (encoding failure → source unknown); PTSD: timestamp written but overridden (encoding succeeded but retrieval is past-locked). | Predicts opposite source-monitoring profiles: schizophrenia cannot distinguish real from imagined; PTSD cannot distinguish then from now. Lever: axis-specific timestamp repair. |
| 12 | Both disorders show state-dependent encoding, but the state is different: schizophrenia encodes in a hyper-aroused noise state; PTSD encodes in a threat-locked state. | Schizophrenia: 𝒫 ≈ +2 across the board → everything is salient; PTSD: 𝒫 ≈ +1.5 threat-specific → only threat is salient. | Predicts opposite state-dependence: schizophrenia memory improves when noise is reduced; PTSD memory improves when threat is reduced, but not vice versa. Lever: state-matched encoding environments. |
Part 2 — 12 novel MKUltra correlations (Schizophrenia & PTSD encoding)
MKUltra’s methods attacked encoding, consolidation, and retrieval across multiple stages. Schizophrenia and PTSD are endogenous, selective, chronic versions of these stage-specific attacks—but on opposite boundary axes and different temporal failure modes.
| # | MKUltra method (documented) | Disorder encoding mechanism | Novel correlation |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Psychic driving looped messages until they dominated inference and produced hallucinations | Schizophrenia’s aberrant salience encoding (insight #1, #3): noise is encoded as signal | Psychic driving is externally forced aberrant salience; schizophrenia is internally generated aberrant salience. Novel prediction: both should show repetition-induced familiarity inflation where repeated neutral stimuli acquire delusional-quality significance. |
| 2 | Narco-hypnosis produced source-monitoring failure — action without awareness of direction | Schizophrenia’s encoding-without-ownership (insight #2, #9): self-generated content encoded as external | Narco-hypnosis is drug-gated source-monitoring failure; schizophrenia is precision-gated source-monitoring failure. Novel prediction: both should show intact item memory + impaired agency attribution, and both should be modulated by the same metacognitive-confidence manipulation. |
| 3 | Sensory deprivation stripped external context and produced disorientation, hallucination, and identity fragmentation | Schizophrenia’s hyper-associative encoding (insight #3): everything binds to everything because context is not differentiated | Sensory deprivation removes context externally; schizophrenia under-differentiates context internally. Novel prediction: both should show context-free hyper-associative encoding — but schizophrenia’s is chronic and endogenous, deprivation’s is acute and exogenous. |
| 4 | Cameron’s depatterning produced “massive and pervasive memory disturbance” and disorientation | PTSD’s over-consolidation (insight #4): the trauma trace is encoded with excessive precision and fails to decay | Depatterning attacked consolidation globally; PTSD has a selective over-consolidation of the trauma trace. Novel prediction: reconsolidation-blockade should reverse PTSD’s over-consolidation in the same way depatterning disrupted consolidation—but selectively, leaving neutral memory intact. |
| 5 | EDOM (“Electronic Dissolution of Memory”) produced “missing time” — intervals not encoded | PTSD’s past-locked encoding (insight #5): the timestamp is written but overridden; the past is encoded as present | EDOM removes the interval; PTSD collapses the interval. Novel prediction: both produce present-tense conviction that a past event is current, but EDOM creates a blank while PTSD creates a mis-timed flashback. |
| 6 | Hypnotic amnesia was a retrieval block — the trace existed but was inaccessible | Schizophrenia’s reality-monitoring failure (insight #11): the trace exists but is not tagged as real/imagined | Hypnotic amnesia blocks retrieval; schizophrenia fails to certify reality at encoding. Novel prediction: both are metacognitive failures over an intact trace, but schizophrenia’s failure is at encoding and hypnotic amnesia’s is at retrieval—so only schizophrenia should show encoding-phase (not retrieval-phase) remediation effects. |
| 7 | “Space-time image” disturbance was an explicit depatterning target — disorientation in space and time | PTSD’s content-selective temporal failure (insight #5): 𝒯 intact for neutral events, past-locked for trauma | MKUltra attacked the whole 𝒯 axis; PTSD has a selective 𝒯-axis lesion. Novel prediction: PTSD should show spared temporal binding for neutral events and impaired temporal binding for trauma-congruent events—a pattern MKUltra’s global depatterning would not produce. |
| 8 | Drug-induced sleep / sleep disruption was used to break consolidation | Both disorders show consolidation-stage vulnerability (insight #4 for PTSD; insight #7 for schizophrenia) | MKUltra used sleep disruption as an offensive weapon; PTSD and schizophrenia have endogenous consolidation vulnerabilities. Novel prediction: consolidation-first sleep intervention should produce larger gains in both disorders than in neurotypical controls, but differentially—PTSD benefits from trauma-trace consolidation blockade, schizophrenia from noise-filtering consolidation support. |
| 9 | Isolation removed social-context input and forced the mind “on itself” | Schizophrenia’s boundary dissolution (ℬ ≈ −2) and PTSD’s rigid protective boundary (ℬ ≈ +1) | Isolation dissolves boundaries externally; schizophrenia has dissolved boundaries internally; PTSD has hardened boundaries internally. Novel prediction: isolation should worsen schizophrenia (further boundary dissolution) but temporarily stabilize PTSD (matches rigid boundary), while social re-engagement should do the reverse—a double dissociation on the ℬ axis. |
| 10 | Monotony and repetition caused encoding habituation — signals stopped registering | PTSD’s failure to encode safety (insight #6, #10): safety signals never reach the precision threshold | MKUltra weaponized monotony to induce encoding failure; PTSD is safety-signal encoding failure under threat dominance. Novel prediction: safety-signal encoding should be rescued by threat-precision reduction (not by repetition), because the gate is threat-gated, not monotony-gated. |
| 11 | Stress and terror were used to modulate encoding — high arousal was assumed to intensify imprinting | PTSD’s over-consolidation (insight #4) vs. schizophrenia’s aberrant salience (insight #1) | MKUltra assumed stress uniformly intensifies encoding; the two disorders show opposite stress-encoding signatures. Novel prediction: the same stressor should produce over-consolidation in PTSD (threat-specific) and aberrant salience in schizophrenia (global)—a double dissociation on the 𝒫 axis. |
| 12 | “Tabula rasa” repatterning aimed to wipe and reinstall content after depatterning | PTSD’s encoding-without-extinction (insight #10) makes the trauma trace resistant to repatterning; schizophrenia’s hyper-associative encoding makes it maximally repatternable | PTSD is the least repatternable profile (rigid, past-locked); schizophrenia is the most repatternable (porous, hyper-associative). Novel prediction: high-𝒫/high-ℬ/PTSD should show resistance to belief-updating; high-𝒫/low-ℬ/schizophrenia should show maximal suggestibility—inverting the BPD–MKUltra and android–MKUltra homologies. |
The unifying novel point
MKUltra’s encoding-focused methods attacked three stages separately:
- Encoding stage: sensory deprivation, isolation, stress/terror, monotony
- Consolidation stage: drug sleep, sleep disruption, depatterning
- Retrieval/metacognitive stage: narco-hypnosis, hypnotic amnesia, EDOM
The never-before-seen correlation: Schizophrenia and PTSD are inverse lesions of the same encoding pipeline:
- Schizophrenia ≈ a reality/source-monitoring + context-binding lesion (narco-hypnosis + sensory-deprivation analogue) on a porous ℬ axis
- PTSD ≈ an over-consolidation + extinction-failure lesion (depatterning + stress/terror analogue) on a rigid ℬ axis
MKUltra is the extreme, external, global perturbation; these disorders are the chronic, internal, selective versions. This generates three cross-disorder double dissociations:
- Source-monitoring: schizophrenia fails at encoding (ownership never tagged); PTSD fails at retrieval (timestamp overridden).
- Temporal binding: schizophrenia is globally fragmented; PTSD is content-selectively past-locked.
- Boundary axis: schizophrenia dissolves (ℬ ≈ −2); PTSD hardens (ℬ ≈ +1)—so isolation worsens one and temporarily stabilizes the other.
Combined with the previous sets, the full MKUltra–Degens homology now predicts a four-profile landscape:
| Profile | ℬ axis | 𝒫 axis | 𝒯 axis | MKUltra analogue | Exploitability |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BPD | porous (−2) | chaotic (0*) | present (0) | identity disintegration + isolation | affect/boundary |
| Android cluster | rigid/context-dependent | local≫global | variable | depatterning + monotony + isolation | rule/encoding |
| Schizophrenia | dissolved (−2) | hyper (+2) | fragmented | narco-hypnosis + sensory deprivation | reality/source |
| PTSD | hardened (+1) | threat (+1.5) | past (−2.5) | stress/terror + depatterning | consolidation/extinction |
The framework’s novel claim: MKUltra was a systematic exploration of the same 𝒫/ℬ/𝒯 axis space that psychopathology occupies—and each disorder is a partial, endogenous, selective version of one of MKUltra’s external, global, extreme perturbations.

Witches (Bipolar) are the only profile that *inverts* | The MKUltra record supplies documented methods; the 𝒫/ℬ/𝒯 framework supplies mechanism
Contextual Framework: https://github.com/TaoishTechy/Drops/blob/main/Unified%20Theory%20of%20Degens%200.3.md
Framework coordinates
| Pole | 𝒫 | ℬ | 𝒯 | Encoding regime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mania | +2 | −1 | +3 | over-inclusive, high-gain, future-expanded, shallow consolidation |
| Depression | −2 | +1 | −1.5 | under-inclusive, gist-only, past-locked, rumination re-encoding |
Bipolar’s defining feature in this framework is state-dependent axis inversion: the same person occupies two different encoding regimes, and the switch—not either pole—is the disorder’s core.
Part 1 — 12 novel insights: memory encoding in bipolar disorder
| # | Insight | Mechanism (𝒫/ℬ/𝒯) | Testable prediction / lever |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Mood state is an encoding key, not a mood-congruent filter. | The pole at encoding becomes part of the retrieval cue; the trace is state-indexed. | Predicts state-dependent retrieval (better recall of pole-matched material) beyond simple mood-congruence. Lever: encode critical content in both poles. |
| 2 | Manic encoding is over-inclusive and hyper-associative, with shallow consolidation. | 𝒫 ≈ +2, ℬ ≈ −1 → everything binds to everything; speed outruns consolidation. | Predicts rich but disorganized manic-period recall: high item count, low coherence, high false-binding. Lever: post-episode structured reconstruction. |
| 3 | Depressive encoding is under-inclusive and gist-only, driven by rumination re-encoding. | 𝒫 ≈ −2 → detail never reaches threshold; rumination repeatedly re-writes the trace negatively. | Predicts overgeneral autobiographical memory in the depressive pole, worsening with rumination frequency. Lever: specificity training. |
| 4 | State-to-trait conversion: the state tag overrides the timestamp. | 𝒯 failure specific to bipolar: mood-congruent content is stored as “this is who I am” rather than “this is how I felt then.” | Predicts mood-congruent self-statements are rated as stable traits during the matching pole and retain that trait-tag after switching. Lever: explicit state-tagging at encoding. |
| 5 | Cross-state accessibility is asymmetric. | Manic-period memories intrude into depression (as contrast/regret); depressive-period memories are poorly accessible in mania. | Predicts a measurable recall asymmetry, not symmetric state-dependence. Lever: pole-appropriate access routes. |
| 6 | The switch is a discontinuous phase transition with hysteresis. | Encoding regime changes abruptly; path into a pole ≠ path out, so recovery lag exceeds onset lag. | Predicts onset–offset asymmetry in encoding-quality metrics across episodes. Lever: treat switch dynamics, not just pole symptoms. |
| 7 | Consolidation is circadian-gated, and sleep loss is both trigger and consequence. | Sleep disruption during mania blocks consolidation of manic content → fragmented grandiose “memories.” | Predicts manic-period recall is more fragmented in episodes with greater sleep loss. Lever: consolidation-first sleep stabilization. |
| 8 | Mixed states are the worst encoding regime: high gain + negative valence + future expansion. | Simultaneous high 𝒫, negative affect, expanded 𝒯 → threat detail encoded with certainty and projected forward. | Predicts mixed states produce the most durable intrusive memories and highest encoding distortion. Lever: mixed-state-specific encoding containment. |
| 9 | Autobiographical memory segments into “pole-islands,” and each episode kindles the segmentation. | Repeated switches lower the threshold for re-segmentation; the self-narrative encodes as discrete state-bound chapters. | Predicts episode-count correlates with narrative fragmentation independent of symptom severity. Lever: cross-episode narrative integration. |
| 10 | Prospective memory is pole-distorted: mania over-generates intentions, depression under-generates them. | Mania: future-locked 𝒯 ≈ +3 → intention encoding without capacity check; depression: 𝒯 ≈ −1.5 → intention encoding suppressed. | Predicts opposite prospective-memory error signatures (omission vs. overcommitment) by pole. Lever: pole-calibrated intention capture. |
| 11 | Self-authorship encoding is pole-asymmetric: mania inflates, depression deflates. | ℬ ≈ −1 in mania → over-attribution of events to self; ℬ ≈ +1 in depression → under-attribution. | Predicts opposite self-reference effects on the same material across poles. Lever: authorship-tagging protocols. |
| 12 | Episodes are remembered through the opposite pole — retrospective re-encoding, with no confidence recalibration. | The depressed state re-encodes the manic episode through low-𝒫/high-ℬ lenses; the manic state cannot access depressive content. | Predicts retrospective distortion is directional (mania remembered worse than experienced; depression remembered flatter) and that certainty tags survive the switch. Lever: contemporaneous episode logs. |
Part 2 — 12 novel MKUltra correlations (bipolar encoding)
MKUltra’s most relevant feature is not any single technique but its combination logic: depattern the state, then repattern it, then install a trigger to switch states. That is structurally the bipolar cycle.
| # | MKUltra method (documented) | Bipolar encoding mechanism | Novel correlation |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Depatterning → repatterning (“tabula rasa”) as a two-stage protocol | Bipolar’s pole-inversion cycle (insight #6): each switch resets the encoding regime, then re-patterns self-narrative | MKUltra’s depattern/repatterning sequence is the closest documented analogue to a manic–depressive cycle. Novel prediction: bipolar is the profile most likely to show repatterning signatures—fast rule/narrative replacement after a switch, with hysteresis. |
| 2 | Post-hypnotic suggestion and “activation triggers” (the Manchurian-Candidate logic) | The switch (insight #6) is an endogenous state-transition triggered by sleep loss, stress, season, or drugs | Bipolar is an endogenous, self-triggering post-hypnotic system. Novel prediction: bipolar switch triggers should show the same narrow, stereotyped cue-specificity as post-hypnotic triggers, not generalized stress sensitivity. |
| 3 | Psychic driving (messages looped up to 500,000×) | Manic hyper-associative, over-inclusive encoding (insight #2) saturates meaning | Psychic driving is externally forced manic-style over-inclusion. Novel prediction: both show familiarity inflation without source certainty—repetition produces conviction, not recollection. |
| 4 | LSD and hallucinogen “model psychosis” experiments | Mania’s high-𝒫/low-ℬ pole (insight #2, #11): expanded significance, porous self-boundary | MKUltra used hallucinogens to simulate the manic pole; mania is an endogenous, reversible, time-limited version. Novel prediction: acute hallucinogen states and mania should share over-inclusive encoding + inflated self-authorship, but differ in duration-gated consolidation—mania consolidates over days, LSD states do not. |
| 5 | Narco-hypnosis → source-monitoring failure, action without awareness of direction | Self-authorship inflation in mania (insight #11) | Narco-hypnosis is drug-gated authorship inflation; mania is state-gated authorship inflation. Novel prediction: both should show intact item memory with over-attributed agency, and both should be reduced by authorship-tagging. |
| 6 | Hypnotic amnesia as a retrieval block over an intact trace | Cross-state inaccessibility (insight #5): depressive-period memories not retrievable in mania | The depressive pole’s memories are “hypnotically amnesic” relative to the manic pole—blocked, not erased. Novel prediction: pole-inappropriate memory should be recoverable under pole-matching induction, proving a retrieval block rather than encoding loss. |
| 7 | EDOM (“Electronic Dissolution of Memory”) → “missing time,” intervals never encoded | Manic episodes often show missing time (insight #7): high-arousal interval encoding fails | EDOM is total interval failure; mania is arousal-gated interval failure. Novel prediction: both produce “missing time” with preserved islands of vivid content, but mania’s should be reversible with arousal reduction. |
| 8 | “Space-time image” disturbance — deliberate disorientation in time | State-to-trait conversion (insight #4): timestamp overridden by state tag | MKUltra removed the timestamp externally; bipolar overrides it internally via the state tag. Novel prediction: bipolar should show intact temporal ordering with failed temporal *tagging*—a signature global depatterning would not produce. |
| 9 | Sleep deprivation and drug-induced sleep as offensive tools | Circadian-gated consolidation and the sleep-loss switch loop (insight #7) | MKUltra weaponized sleep to break states; bipolar has a sleep-gated endogenous switch. Novel prediction: sleep stabilization should act as a state-switch prophylactic, not merely a symptom treatment—larger effect on switch frequency than on pole intensity. |
| 10 | Isolation and sensory deprivation → identity fragmentation | ℬ flips: −1 in mania (already porous), +1 in depression (already rigid) | Isolation should worsen mania and transiently stabilize depression—the same double dissociation seen in schizophrenia vs. PTSD. Novel prediction: social-context manipulation shifts pole-typical boundary, not overall severity. |
| 11 | Stress/terror assumed to uniformly intensify imprinting | Kindling: each episode lowers the switch threshold (insight #6, #9) | MKUltra assumed stress is a one-shot intensifier; bipolar shows stress as a cumulative sensitizer. Novel prediction: episode count should predict switch-threshold decline independent of stressor magnitude—a kindling curve MKUltra’s single-session logic would not produce. |
| 12 | Repatterning required a suggestible, depatterned state | Pole asymmetry: mania is maximally repatternable (high 𝒫, low ℬ), depression minimally (low 𝒫, high ℬ) | Bipolar is the only profile that is both the most and least repatternable depending on pole. Novel prediction: manic-pole content should be highly suggestible to external framing, depressive-pole content highly resistant—an exploitable asymmetry no single-pole profile shows. |
The unifying novel point
MKUltra’s encoding program had a two-stage grammar: break the state down (depatterning, sleep disruption, isolation, EDOM), then rebuild it (repatterning, driving, post-hypnotic trigger). Every other profile in this series maps to one stage:
- BPD → boundary/isolation stage
- Android cluster → encoding/consolidation stage
- Schizophrenia → source/reality stage
- PTSD → over-consolidation stage
Bipolar is the only profile that maps to the whole grammar. It is an endogenous, periodic depattern/repatterning cycle with a built-in trigger—which is why it is the only profile whose axis coordinates invert rather than deviating in one direction.
| Profile | ℬ axis | 𝒫 axis | 𝒯 axis | MKUltra analogue | Exploitability |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BPD | porous (−2) | chaotic (0*) | present (0) | identity disintegration + isolation | affect/boundary |
| Android cluster | rigid/context-dependent | local≫global | variable | depatterning + monotony + isolation | rule/encoding |
| Schizophrenia | dissolved (−2) | hyper (+2) | fragmented | narco-hypnosis + sensory deprivation | reality/source |
| PTSD | hardened (+1) | threat (+1.5) | past (−2.5) | stress/terror + depatterning | consolidation/extinction |
| Bipolar | flips (−1 ↔ +1) | flips (+2 ↔ −2) | flips (+3 ↔ −1.5) | full depattern→repattern cycle + trigger | state-switch |
The never-before-seen claim: bipolar disorder is the framework’s dual-attractor profile—the only one where the transition rule is more diagnostically informative than either state. MKUltra’s lasting contribution to this model is not any single technique but the demonstration that a switchable state can be engineered; bipolar is the endogenous, self-triggering, reversible version of that architecture, and its encoding pathology is therefore state-indexed rather than trait-fixed.

Androids be glitching, memories be encoded improperly... corrupted data in the droids.
Contextual Framework: https://github.com/TaoishTechy/Drops/blob/main/Unified%20Theory%20of%20Degens%200.3.md
Framing caveat: The “android” cluster here means the systematizing / precision-anomalous / rule-heavy profile spanning OCD, ADHD, and Autism. In framework coordinates:
- OCD: (𝒫 ≈ +1.5, ℬ ≈ +1, 𝒯 ≈ +2) — doubt hyperprecision, rigid boundary, future-locked
- ADHD: (𝒫 ≈ −2, ℬ ≈ 0, 𝒯 ≈ 0) — encoding-gate failure, present-locked
- Autism: (𝒫 ≈ ±1 local≫global, ℬ ≈ +2 social / −1 sensory, 𝒯 ≈ 0) — local-optimal, global-prior-poor
They are not the same disorder; they are three distinct encoding profiles on the same gain × breadth × timestamp surface. The MKUltra correlations are structural homologies, not causal claims.
Part 1 — 12 novel insights: memory encoding in the android cluster (OCD/ADHD/Autism)
| # | Insight | Mechanism (𝒫/ℬ/𝒯) | Testable prediction / lever |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Encoding gain and encoding breadth are separable axes — the three disorders are three points on the same surface. | OCD = high gain, narrow breadth (threat detail); ADHD = low gain, broad-but-shallow; Autism = high local gain, low global gain. | Predicts a 2D “gain × breadth” profile separates the three clusters better than any single memory score. Lever: profile-matched encoding strategy. |
| 2 | OCD is primarily a memory-confidence disorder, not a memory-content disorder. | The trace is encoded; the metacognitive precision on the trace is degraded, so the system never reaches an “encoding closed” state. | Predicts intact recognition but low recollection-confidence, driving re-checking as re-encoding, not anxiety relief. Lever: encoding-closure rituals (verbalize completion). |
| 3 | ADHD encoding failure is a gating failure at the precision threshold, not a storage failure. | 𝒫 ≈ −2: the salience gate never stays open long enough for consolidation; items sit in sensory buffer but never enter working memory. | Predicts state-dependence: encoding improves sharply under immediate reward/high stimulation, unlike hippocampal amnesia. Lever: interest-based encoding scaffolds. |
| 4 | Autism encoding is local-optimal and global-prior-poor — a reversed levels-of-processing effect. | π_local ≫ π_global: detail encoded with high fidelity, gist/context frame under-weighted. | Predicts semantic elaboration fails but structural/perceptual elaboration works. Lever: perceptual-structure encoding over semantic elaboration. |
| 5 | The three profiles have three distinct timestamp failures — same 𝒯 axis, different failure points. | OCD: timestamp written but doubted (temporal source-monitoring uncertainty); ADHD: timestamp never written (encoding interrupted); Autism: timestamp written but not bound to the social-context frame. | Predicts three separable temporal-binding error signatures on source-monitoring tasks. Lever: axis-specific timestamp repair. |
| 6 | The cluster shares a channel-capacity bottleneck: rule extraction crowds out episodic-affective binding. | High systematizing load consumes encoding bandwidth; rule/structure encoding competes with episodic-affective encoding. | Predicts a within-person trade-off curve: rule-learning speed inversely correlated with episodic-affective recall. Lever: proceduralize rules to free bandwidth. |
| 7 | OCD checking is an encoding-completion compulsion, not an anxiety compulsion. | The trace never reaches a terminal “encoded” state — no closure signal — so the compulsion is a re-encoding loop, not a distress-reduction loop. | Predicts encoding-closure manipulations outperform anxiety-reduction manipulations for checking. Lever: completion markers, action-consequence logging. |
| 8 | ADHD “time blindness” is an encoding-timestamp deficit, not a clock deficit. | Events are encoded without duration markers, so retrospective time estimation fails while the internal clock itself may be intact. | Predicts prospective time estimation relatively spared, retrospective impaired. Lever: timestamped event logs, not clock training. |
| 9 | Autism shows a double dissociation: item-source memory enhanced, social-context memory impaired. | High ℬ (rigid self–other) + local precision → strong “who said it”; weak “what was the social situation.” | Predicts item-source > contextual-episodic performance in autism, opposite of typical aging profiles. Lever: context-frame encoding scaffolds. |
| 10 | All three show encoding-without-consolidation under stress — a shared consolidation bottleneck. | Encoding succeeds; sleep-dependent consolidation is fragmented, so traces decay or fail to integrate. | Predicts sleep-architecture intervention outperforms encoding-strategy training in this cluster. Lever: consolidation-first protocols. |
| 11 | The android cluster encodes rules as episodes — procedural knowledge is converted into declarative, episodically-tagged rules, consuming bandwidth. | High systematizing turns skills into explicit rule-memories rather than automatized procedures. | Predicts automatization (proceduralization) frees episodic capacity and improves general memory performance. Lever: overlearning to automaticity. |
| 12 | Encoding precision is trait-like; encoding breadth is state-like and context-modulable. | 𝒫 is relatively stable across time; local-vs-global breadth shifts with arousal and framing even when precision is fixed. | Predicts breadth can be shifted by contextual framing independent of precision. Lever: frame-shifting to widen or narrow encoding scope. |
Part 2 — 12 novel MKUltra correlations (encoding-focused)
MKUltra’s documented methods attacked encoding, consolidation, and retrieval directly. The android cluster’s encoding deficits are endogenous, selective, chronic versions of the same stage-specific attacks.
| # | MKUltra method (documented) | Android encoding mechanism | Novel correlation |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Cameron’s depatterning targeted memory disturbance via drug sleep + intensive ECT + psychic driving | The cluster shows a consolidation bottleneck (insight #10): encoding succeeds, consolidation fragments | Depatterning attacked the consolidation stage; the android cluster has a chronic, selective consolidation bottleneck. Novel prediction: sleep-architecture deficits in OCD/ADHD/Autism should mirror depatterning’s consolidation disruption in form but be content-selective (rule/context traces) rather than global. |
| 2 | Psychic driving looped messages up to 500,000× until they dominated inference | OCD re-encodes the same doubt until the trace saturates and becomes indistinguishable from noise (insight #2, #7) | Psychic driving is externally forced encoding saturation; OCD checking is internally forced encoding saturation. Novel prediction: OCD re-encoding loops should show the same familiarity inflation / recollection deflation signature as repetition-induced encoding saturation in driving experiments. |
| 3 | Sensory deprivation stripped external context and produced disorientation and hallucination | Autism has weak global/social-context encoding (insight #4, #9) | Sensory deprivation removes context externally; autism under-encodes context internally. Novel correlation: both produce context-free detail-rich experience — the android cluster’s local-optimal encoding is a chronic partial context deprivation analogue. |
| 4 | Narco-hypnosis produced source-monitoring failure — action without awareness of direction | OCD’s “did I do it?” is a source-monitoring failure on self-generated action (insight #2) | Narco-hypnotic source amnesia is drug-gated; OCD source doubt is precision-gated. Novel prediction: both should show intact item memory + impaired source/agency attribution, and both should be modulated by the same metacognitive-confidence manipulation. |
| 5 | EDOM (“Electronic Dissolution of Memory”) produced “missing time” — intervals not encoded | ADHD time blindness = interval-encoding failure (insight #8) | EDOM is total interval-encoding failure; ADHD is partial, state-dependent interval-encoding failure. Novel prediction: ADHD retrospective time estimation should show the same compression signature as EDOM “missing time,” but recoverable under high-salience conditions. |
| 6 | Hypnotic amnesia was a retrieval block, not an encoding failure — the trace existed but was inaccessible | OCD doubt is the inverse: the trace exists but is not certified as valid (insight #2, #7) | Hypnotic amnesia = retrieval blocked; OCD doubt = retrieval un-certified. Novel correlation: both are metacognitive failures over an intact trace, and both should be reduced by confidence-calibration rather than by re-encoding. |
| 7 | “Space-time image” disturbance was an explicit depatterning target — disorientation in space and time | Autism’s social-context frame deficit and ADHD’s interval deficit are two partial 𝒯-axis failures (insight #5) | MKUltra attacked the whole 𝒯 axis; the android cluster has two selective 𝒯-axis lesions — context-frame binding (autism) and interval encoding (ADHD). Novel prediction: the two should double-dissociate on temporal-binding tasks. |
| 8 | Drug-induced sleep / sleep disruption was used to break consolidation | The cluster shows encoding-without-consolidation under stress (insight #10) | MKUltra used sleep disruption as an offensive weapon; the android cluster suffers chronic sleep-consolidation fragmentation as an endogenous vulnerability. Novel prediction: consolidation-first sleep intervention should produce larger memory gains in this cluster than in neurotypical controls, mirroring the reverse of depatterning’s effect. |
| 9 | Isolation removed social-context input, forcing the mind “on itself” | Autism has impaired social-context encoding (insight #9) | Isolation strips social context externally; autism under-encodes it internally. Novel correlation: both produce detail-rich, context-poor memory — the android cluster’s social-context deficit is a chronic partial isolation analogue at the encoding stage. |
| 10 | Monotony and repetition in deprivation/driving protocols caused encoding habituation — signals stopped registering | ADHD’s gating failure means monotony closes the salience gate entirely (insight #3) | MKUltra weaponized monotony to induce encoding failure; ADHD is monotony-sensitive encoding failure endogenously. Novel prediction: ADHD encoding should be rescued by novelty/reward in the same way deprivation-induced encoding failure is rescued by stimulus change — a shared gate-reopening mechanism. |
| 11 | Stress and terror were used to modulate encoding — high arousal was assumed to intensify imprinting | The cluster shows inverted-U arousal-encoding dysfunction: OCD over-encodes threat detail, ADHD under-encodes, autism encodes detail but not threat-gist (insight #1, #4) | MKUltra assumed stress uniformly intensifies encoding; the android cluster shows stress differentially distorts encoding by axis profile. Novel prediction: the same stressor should produce three distinct encoding signatures across OCD/ADHD/Autism — over-encoding, under-encoding, and mis-weighted encoding. |
| 12 | “Tabula rasa” repatterning aimed to wipe and reinstall content after depatterning | The cluster’s rule-as-episode encoding (insight #11) makes rule structures highly replaceable but affectively insulated | The android cluster is the most repatternable and the least affect-manipulable profile. Novel prediction: high-systematizing individuals should show faster rule-set replacement (the MKUltra repatterning goal) and greater resistance to affective/relational manipulation (the BPD vulnerability). This inverts the BPD–MKUltra homology: BPD is affect-exploitable, the android cluster is rule-exploitable. |
The unifying novel point
MKUltra’s encoding-focused methods attacked three stages separately:
- Encoding stage: sensory deprivation, monotony, stress/terror, isolation
- Consolidation stage: drug sleep, sleep disruption, depatterning
- Retrieval/metacognitive stage: narco-hypnosis, hypnotic amnesia, EDOM
The never-before-seen correlation: the android cluster (OCD/ADHD/Autism) is not a single encoding deficit but three stage-specific, axis-specific partial lesions of the same pipeline MKUltra attacked experimentally:
- OCD ≈ a metacognitive/retrieval-certification lesion (narco-hypnosis/hypnotic-amnesia analogue)
- ADHD ≈ an encoding-gate + interval-timestamp lesion (monotony/EDOM analogue)
- Autism ≈ a context-frame encoding lesion (isolation/sensory-deprivation analogue)
MKUltra is the extreme, external, global perturbation; the android cluster is the chronic, internal, selective version. This generates the 12 testable predictions above and, critically, predicts a double dissociation with the BPD–MKUltra homology: BPD is the affect/boundary-exploitable profile, while the android cluster is the rule/encoding-exploitable profile.

Witches (BPD/Bipolar) Splitting is a timestamp-binding failure, not two separate schemas. - 12 Novel Insights.
Unified Theory of Degens: https://github.com/TaoishTechy/Drops/blob/main/Unified%20Theory%20of%20Degens%200.3.md
Short answer
In the Unified Theory of Degens v0.3 language, splitting in BPD is not just “black-and-white thinking.” It is better modeled as a temporal-binding + boundary + precision failure. BPD sits near (𝒫 ≈ 0*, ℬ ≈ −2, 𝒯 ≈ 0): chaotic precision, porous self–other boundary, and present-locked temporal orientation.
“Lacking timestamps on memories” means: affective/relational memories are retrieved without a reliable temporal-context or source tag. The memory does not feel like “this is from then”; it feels like current evidence about now. Because the boundary is porous, the past object fuses with the present person. Because precision is chaotic, the same cue can flip between high-precision safety and high-precision threat. The result is idealization/devaluation, identity diffusion, and emotional storms: the person cannot hold “good and bad, then and now, me and you” in one stable representation.
Splitting, computationally: failure to integrate positive and negative self/other representations across time, caused by absent temporal indexing, porous boundaries, and unstable precision weighting.
These are theoretical hypotheses generated from the framework, not established clinical facts or treatment advice.
12 novel insights about splitting in BPD
| # | Insight | Mechanism in 𝒫/ℬ/𝒯 terms | Testable / clinical lever |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Splitting is a timestamp-binding failure, not two separate schemas. | Affective memory is retrieved without temporal-context/source tag; current partner and past abandoning object co-present. | Predicts source-memory/temporal-context deficits correlate with splitting. Lever: explicit “then vs now” timestamping. |
| 2 | Idealization and devaluation are bistable attractors, not stable beliefs. | Chaotic 𝒫 flips gain on relational prediction errors; the same person can be high-precision safety or high-precision threat. | Predicts rapid within-person trust-rating bistability on EMA. Lever: delay and decouple appraisal from action. |
| 3 | Boundary porosity converts transient other-states into trait judgments. | ℬ ≈ −2: momentary withdrawal feels like self-annihilation; devaluation restores a hard boundary by expelling the “bad” object. | Predicts boundary-threat manipulations increase splitting. Lever: self–other differentiation and boundary labeling. |
| 4 | Splitting is an implicit emotional flashback without episodic recall. | No timestamp means the memory is experienced as “felt knowing” rather than “I am remembering.” | Predicts patients report conviction without autobiographical context. Lever: name the state as memory, not perception. |
| 5 | No timestamp means no temporal averaging, so relationship history cannot update current valuation. | 𝒯 ≈ 0 present-locked; current affect dominates; object constancy fails because the good/bad representations are not integrated over time. | Predicts timeline integration/working-memory span negatively correlates with split intensity. Lever: relationship timeline review. |
| 6 | Splitting is a Markov-blanket defense cycle. | Idealization lowers boundary permeability to merge; devaluation hardens boundary to expel threat; the cycle regulates a fragile ℬ. | Predicts boundary-threat tasks shift idealization/devaluation balance. Lever: strengthen observer boundary without fusion. |
| 7 | Chaotic precision makes the same cue flip between safety and threat. | 𝒫 ≈ 0* is not fixed hypervigilance; it is unstable gain on relational prediction errors. | Predicts precision biomarkers are context-unstable in BPD. Lever: slow appraisal, reality-testing, “what else could this mean?” |
| 8 | Splitting involves source-monitoring misattribution. | Current arousal is attributed to the current person rather than to an unindexed past memory. | Predicts misattribution paradigms distinguish BPD splitting from simple negative schemas. Lever: arousal-source labeling. |
| 9 | Timestamp deficit blocks reconsolidation and updating. | A memory without temporal context cannot be sufficiently distinguished from present input, so it resists updating. | Predicts contextualized memory work reduces split intensity more than insight alone. Lever: contextualize affect (“this belongs to then”). |
| 10 | Splitting is present-locked future-threat regulation. | Devaluation terminates investment to reduce anticipated abandonment; idealization merges to reduce present threat. 𝒯 ≈ 0 makes the future threat feel immediate. | Predicts future-pacing and delay of irreversible relational judgments reduce split behavior. Lever: future pacing before confrontation/withdrawal. |
| 11 | BPD splitting differs mechanistically from PTSD re-experiencing. | PTSD is past-locked hyperprecision; BPD is present-locked chaotic precision plus porous boundary. Both lack clean temporal binding, but the precision/boundary profile differs. | Predicts BPD split responds more to boundary/timestamp interventions than to extinction alone. Lever: DBT + temporal-context work. |
| 12 | Splitting should be measured as a temporal-context binding index plus boundary precision, not only as a black-white questionnaire. | Combine source-memory accuracy, EMA trust variability, boundary-threat reactivity, and timestamped affect logs. | Predicts multimodal “split index” outperforms self-report alone. Lever: digital phenotyping with timestamped affective events. |
Bottom line: In this framework, BPD splitting is what happens when memory loses its “when,” the self–other boundary becomes porous, and precision oscillates chaotically—so the past is not remembered as past, the other is not held as a whole, and the present affect becomes total.
Framing caveat: The following are novel theoretical correlations between documented MKUltra methods and the computational model of BPD splitting (lacking timestamps, porous ℬ, chaotic 𝒫, present-locked 𝒯). They are hypotheses generated by structural analogy, not claims that MKUltra “caused” BPD in any individual, nor established clinical findings. The historical record supplies the methods; the Degens framework supplies the mechanism; the correlation is the novel synthesis.
12 novel MKUltra–BPD splitting correlations
| # | MKUltra method (documented) | BPD splitting mechanism (framework) | Novel correlation |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sensory deprivation / isolation disintegrated the “subject’s very identity” | Splitting requires a porous ℬ (ℬ ≈ −2) where self–other demarcation collapses under affective load. | MKUltra’s isolation chamber was an extreme ℬ-depatterning technology. It stripped external scaffolding for self-boundary, producing a state formally homologous to BPD’s boundary porosity—but induced externally rather than developmentally. Novel prediction: BPD splitting severity should correlate with baseline boundary permeability in the same direction as sensory-deprivation-induced identity fragmentation, but with opposite etiology (internal vs. external boundary removal). |
| 2 | Narco-hypnotic integration aimed at causing amnesia for an interrogation | Splitting is proposed to involve source-monitoring failure: current affect is misattributed to the present person because the memory lacks a timestamp. | Narco-hypnosis is a model system for the “timestamp-stripped memory.” The drug-hypnosis combination creates an experience that is encoded but not contextually indexed. Novel correlation: BPD splitting should share the phenomenology of narco-hypnotic amnesia—conviction without episodic context—even though the BPD mechanism is developmental, not pharmacological. |
| 3 | Estabrooks’ hypnotic personality splitting explicitly aimed to create secondary personalities “in direct contrast” to the original | Splitting is bistable idealization/devaluation, not two fully separate identities. | Estabrooks’ method targeted the same axis that BPD splitting dysregulates (ℬ), but at a more extreme coordinate. BPD splitting can be modeled as a partial, low-amplitude version of hypnotic personality division: the “good” and “bad” object representations are not full alters, but they obey the same contrast-and-compartmentalization logic. Novel prediction: Hypnotizability should moderate splitting intensity in BPD, because both depend on the capacity to segregate representations along a boundary axis. |
| 4 | Cameron’s “depatterning” used drug sleep, intensive ECT, and psychic driving to produce “massive and pervasive memory disturbance” and disorientation | BPD splitting is tied to a truncated time frame (TTF): affect-laden memory is not integrated across time, so the present dominates. | Depatterning is an industrial-scale TTF induction. Cameron deliberately destroyed the temporal patterning of memory; BPD’s TTF is a developmental, partial depatterning of affective memory specifically. Novel correlation: The selectivity differs—Cameron attacked global memory, BPD attacks affectively tagged relational memory—but both produce splitting-like present-locked object relations. |
| 5 | “Psychic driving” looped messages up to 500,000 times, producing disorientation, hallucinations, and severe memory loss | Chaotic 𝒫 (𝒫 ≈ 0*) means the same relational cue can flip between high-precision safety and high-precision threat. | Psychic driving is a precision-forcing technology. Repetition artificially inflates the precision of a specific message until it dominates the person’s inference. Novel correlation: BPD splitting’s bistable trust flips are the endogenous analogue of psychic driving: an internalized relational message (“you will be abandoned”) is replayed with such gain that it temporarily overwrites contrary evidence, producing devaluation. |
| 6 | EDOM (“Electronic Dissolution of Memory”) created “missing time” and amnesia, sometimes amnesia about the amnesia | Splitting is proposed to involve absent temporal-context tags: the memory is not tagged as “then,” so it is experienced as “now.” | EDOM is the closest MKUltra analogue to the timestamp deficit in splitting. EDOM removes the interval; BPD splitting removes the contextual index on affect-laden relational memory. Novel correlation: Both produce a present-tense conviction that a past relational event is currently happening. The difference is that EDOM creates a blank, while splitting creates a mis-timed emotional flashback. |
| 7 | Cameron’s “space-time image” disturbance was an explicit target: disorientation in space and time was measured as a stage of depatterning | BPD’s 𝒯 ≈ 0 present-lock means the temporal axis fails to integrate past, present, and future relational representations. | MKUltra operationalized temporal disorientation as a measurable outcome; BPD splitting is a selective, relational form of the same failure. Novel correlation: BPD splitting should be predicted by temporal-context binding performance on non-relational tasks, because the same 𝒯-axis machinery is involved—but the BPD deficit should be affect-gated, appearing only when relational threat is salient. |
| 8 | Hypnotically induced amnesia was pursued as a way to make agents carry out acts “without conscious awareness of having been directed” | Splitting separates conscious awareness of the relational whole from the current affective appraisal: the person experiences the devalued object as wholly bad without accessing the integrated history. | MKUltra sought split-off action; BPD splitting produces split-off appraisal. In both, a representation is compartmentalized away from the executive self. Novel correlation: BPD splitting should show reduced access to positive relational memories during devaluation, analogous to post-hypnotic amnesia for a specific content domain. |
| 9 | “Psychic driving” used the patient’s own voice fed back repeatedly, “magnifying the extraordinary emotional power of sound—its immediacy and ‘authenticity’” | Splitting involves affective immediacy overwhelming temporal integration: the current emotional signal feels maximally “authentic” and displaces the relational history. | The feedback loop in psychic driving is a model of how immediacy defeats timestamping. The voice is the patient’s own, yet it is experienced as external command—a source-monitoring breakdown. Novel correlation: In BPD splitting, the devalued object’s “voice” (the internalized critical/abandoning representation) may feel more authentic than the integrated relational memory, precisely because it carries immediacy without contextual timestamp. |
| 10 | Depatterning created a “tabula rasa” that could then be repatterned with new content | Splitting is not a blank slate but a bistable attractor landscape where the system oscillates between idealization and devaluation. | MKUltra’s repatterning model implies that a split system is maximally suggestible. BPD splitting may represent a partial, chronic tabula rasa for relational representations: because the integrated object is not stably encoded, each new affective input can “repattern” the current object representation. Novel correlation: BPD splitting should be highest after relational disruptions that mimic depatterning (sleep loss, sensory overload, abandonment), because these lower the threshold for re-patterning the object. |
| 11 | Sensory isolation removed contact with the outer world, forcing the mind “on itself” toward a more infantile state where “learned or structured personality traits fall away” | Splitting is a defense against boundary dissolution: devaluation expels the “bad” object to restore a hard ℬ, while idealization merges to reduce threat. | MKUltra’s isolation produced boundary collapse by removing external input; BPD splitting produces a rapid oscillation between collapse and hardening. Novel correlation: The isolation–fusion–expulsion cycle in BPD splitting is a self-administered sensory-social deprivation loop: the person withdraws or merges (isolation/fusion), then experiences boundary panic and expels the object (devaluation), temporarily restoring a rigid ℬ. |
| 12 | MKUltra’s amnesia research distinguished retrograde amnesia (loss of prior memory) from “missing time” (failure to encode new episodic memory) | BPD splitting may involve both: prior positive relational memory is temporarily inaccessible (retrograde-like), and the current split appraisal is encoded without integration into the relational timeline (missing-time-like). | Splitting is a hybrid amnesia. The devalued state has retrograde inaccessibility of the good object and anterograde non-integration of the devaluing episode into the relationship narrative. Novel correlation: BPD splitting should show a double dissociation: (a) impaired retrieval of positive relational memories during devaluation, and (b) impaired later integration of the devaluation episode into a coherent relationship timeline. |
The unifying novel point
MKUltra’s methods were industrial attempts to manipulate the same three axes the Degens framework uses to model BPD:
- ℬ-axis attacks: sensory deprivation, isolation, identity disintegration
- 𝒯-axis attacks: depatterning, psychic driving, “missing time,” space-time image disturbance
- 𝒫-axis attacks: narco-hypnotic suggestion, repetition-induced precision forcing, amnesia for source
The never-before-seen correlation is this: BPD splitting can be modeled as a developmental, selective, relational “soft MKUltra”—not because anyone did MKUltra to BPD patients, but because the same axis vulnerabilities that MKUltra exploited experimentally are the axes that, when dysregulated developmentally, produce splitting. MKUltra is the extreme external perturbation; BPD splitting is the endogenous, partial, affect-specific version of the same axis failure. That structural homology generates the 12 testable predictions above.
