I know it’s Johnny Storm pretending to be Ghost Rider but the penance stare doesn’t kill people it was invented to not kill people (Fantastic four #13)

Like it was interdouced so ghost rider didn’t kill people. Ghostie had a no kill rule

...sickening.

But... kinda funny how villains might react to it

Ghost Rider is a bit scary though. It's not unheard of that a villain may get this wrong due to myth and exaggeration.

In the JMS "Ghost Rider vs. Galactus" comic, his Penance Stare causes people to dissolve into nothingness,

[Another reason there is no frickin' way that comic could be canon. I generally like JMS and loved Babylon 5 and most of his Spider-Man run, but that comic was terrible]

Kinda wish Blaze had been the one to step

in when Johnny Storm’s plan fell apart instead of the rest of the F4, Blaze has a reason to wreck Wizard

The issue would have been 10x better if it was Ghost rider who came to rescue
