DISCUSSION Started collection
Listened to some of the new audio books, but they were kinda bad. I also watched some of the classic show and the movies and I liked those. I bought this tin and say cheese and die has been great so far. I’m on chapter 15 as of making this post.

Are these printed in India according to the inside publication page? I’m curious because they look just like the Indian reprints but I don’t think they’d use those in the tins.

I just bought this same set off of Amazon not that long ago! I wish I still had my originals from grade school 🥲

Honestly this is a great way of collecting the nostalgic pieces. I don't understand the vintage aspect a lot. Collecting 1st editions or older versions doesn't make much sense to me unless you want the inserts specifically. If you wanna enjoy the book get a new copy. Life is so uncertain. You won't feel bad if you can't move out with these as you can always buy the tin again at your new address (at least until it is in print). You don't need to worry about insurance. You don't need to worry about how you open the book because it is fragile. You don't have to worry about germs and stuff. So I prefer them new. I think I am one of the few here.
No harm getting a 1st edition collection if that is what you want. But some people chasing it just cause others are.
