Actively shutting down

Hey ya'll. I'm looking for some advice and words of wisdom. I'm in my second year of my master's, so I'm currently working on inputting and analyzing my data. My field season was rough and I came back feeling really burnt out and it has not gotten any better as the semester drags on. I'm struggling to get through any of this and care about it while also trying to apply for PhD programs (I got a grant that would pay for it, I feel obligated to at least apply).

I'm going to keep going but it's feeling rough. I'm looking for any advice on how to bring some (any) spark back and get myself reengaged again.

If you’re burning out from a masters, how will a doctorate be better?

I just wanted to say I'm in the same boat. I'm so burnt out first semester. How much longer do you have?

Can't really help because I'm in much of the same boat but I can offer some commiseration. Grad school fucking suck and the longer this drags on the more I feel myself running out of steam. I'm currently in my 5th semesters of what is supposed to be a 2 year master's program and having the timer keep ticking while I struggle to figure out a way forward with my research is just causing me to wonder if I'm just wasting my and my adviser's time.

Do you have any easier weeks where you can catch up/ get ahead enough that you can take it easy for a few days?
