Anniversary Dinner in Granada

Hi all,

Just looking for a recommendation for our anniversary. We have 3 days in Granada and for our day we are currently choosing between Carmen El Agua or Mirador Carmen de San Miguel.

Can I ask for your expertise/recommendations?

If you really want dinner with a view then yes, a Carmen such as Las Tomasas is the way to go. If you just want good food, look at La Botilleria, Faralá, Atelier or Nervio. If you're into sushi/Japanese there's Kiato, Yama, X Eqis and Mimar.

El huerto de Juan Ranas si lo que quieres son vistas, justo debajo del mirador de San Nicolas

In Granada it is difficult to conciliate a beautiful view and great cooking. I would probably pick a great view as the better of the two for this occasion, because an Alhambra view is extraordinary. So, for that purpose, any of the restaurants right in front of the Mirador de San Nicholas (such as, as already mentioned, Carmen de Las Tomadas) would work. Be sure to ask for a table right alongside the view when you make an early reservation! Carmen del Agua has a nice view (there are right by our house) but a little lower than the restaurants alongside the Mirador. Still, it would be a nice place. Congratulations on the anniversary!

El Carmen de las Tomasas es genial y a mí la comida me gustó.
