Creep at Stone Road Mall today
Hey guys just wanted to keep you informed about a guy ( East Asian, glasses, Medium height( ~5ft ~5inches) and build, wearing a sweatshirt and shorts) filming girls and women from his waist level on his phone today. I caught him, he retracted his phone. I couldnt find security around and i had to rush home so i couldnt wait to look further. But i managed to let the girl know. Its also stalkerish because he followed her into a shop aswell whilst filming. Just a notice to always be aware of your surroundings guys. I didnt approach him because i didnt want an altercation. Thanks guys.

Might be friends with that Bryce dude. Maybe there's a gang of creepers out there.

Next time take a quick photo of the guy post it on caught in Guelph fb post , Guelph online local groups, especially for security /police to post his face online and at the mall system. That’s ridiculous. I would’ve taken the phone and fought with my life and never gave it back lmao but I’m on a defensive mode as a mom. lol just a friendly advice! I understand the rush of time:) but good for you to take charge. Pedophilia is the highest crime in my eyes, especially for underage kids/children. Well for everyone, he needs to be locked up.

Yea lol you just gave a simple description of any fucking Asian man. I’d fall into that description and Jesus Christ I would not * want someone to think I’m that guy

Yes because logically people around you will see a Reddit post and automatically assume that because you just so happen to fit an extremely vague description of a person that you in particular committed the crime.

Disgusting behaviour, but without proof, you risk a defamation lawsuit. If it was serious enough to make accusations, call the police, even if it delays your schedule. Having to leave but not report it makes you question how serious it really was.

call the police
Can't get them to show up for a legitimate reasons like grand theft auto when the location is known
why call them for what is generally legal; filming people in public places without their consent?
Worst case you get a sworn member charged with sexual assault showing up to "help"

Filming in public and voyeurism are two completely different things. If it was voyeurism, I’d have called security and the police; I wouldn’t have just gone home. Not sure why I’m getting downvoted. 🤷

Call mall security, they likely can find an image of him in the mall when they know time of day to look and where. They will then keep an eye out. Creep likely won't be back for a while, but perhaps the mall can distribute his image to stores and they too can become aware. Its a village, the mall.

Thanks for the warning ⚠️ police may have info if this guy's done it before. You may want to report it to them directly.

What makes you certain that was what he was doing? You haven't conveyed actual awareness of his actions, only speculation and likely projection. I'm not saying he didn't do it, but it's not 100% and you're highlighting a demographic for public scrutiny based on conjecture.

I am 100% sure of what he was doing because i watched him do it in the hallways. When i looked him in the eye, he moved his phone closer to his body, continued looking at him in disgust and when he passed by me to follow her into the store, i saw his camera when he brought it away from his body to look to see if it was still recording. When he followed her into the store fully thats when i went into the store to tell the lady. I literally watched him pick up items behind her to act like he's also shopping when she moved so im 100% sure of what he was doing. And no, im not highlighting a demographic for public scrutiny, im describing the person because i dont have a picture. If your first thought is to scrutinise every asian man, thats a you problem. Projection really?? You have bigger issues to work on if thats your first thought.

Ignore this ding dong. I’d encourage a more specific callout on the demographic. Asia is a huge continent so it’s important to specify.

You can call the mall and security can find him on the cameras.
