I am wanting to know if having 2 Abyssinian males in a 3' x 6' enclosure good enough?
What type (brand, material) would you recommend?
Wood, plastic, wire etc
I am a newbie but I did take care of my son's school pet guinea pig for two weeks.

Hello, I’m approaching my first full winter with a guinea pig. We get very little sunlight here and indoor temperatures will range between 55-68 degrees Fahrenheit. I’ve already started covering half his pen with a fleece blanket at night. What tips do you guys have that won’t break the energy bank?

Hi! I have 3 guinea pigs, all three are males. The original two I got together were bonded, and when I introduced my third, younger piggy, both pigs were fine with him and they could all live together. Then, the two, originally bonded piggies were fighting bad to the point of bleeding. Ever since, they’ve been separated and the younger pig and my black pig have been living together amazingly! My issue is, I need to either give up my mean pig or find a way to get them all to live together again :( please help I’m relatively new to this

Hi!!
It's a LONG story. But my sister (18) has a guinea pig which she was looking after while the owner cared for a sick relative and the owner just didn't want it back. She came to care for him when she was looking after him so decided to keep him rather than him be given to someone random.
I say this because I don't want people thinking she got the guinea pig without thinking about the future.
She goes to uni in September and she has asked if I would have him at my house.
So really I'm looking for advice on how I can make sure he is enriched fully how is best to get him used to being handled by me and what I need to buy. He isn't in a pair because his friend sadly passed away and he has been aggressive when doing potential introductions and the vet advised it would be best to stop trying.
I know that him being on his own can be hard for him so I want to make sure he is getting everything he needs and I am a good fit before making the commitment to take him in August.
It's me or a sanctuary which we will consider if I don't think I can give him what he needs and they can.
Sorry this post is a bit all over the place! I am also going to be doing extensive research elsewhere too but experience is always best to get advice !
Thanks in advance for any advice.

One of my female piggie passed away and now I’m left with 2 male and 1 female piggies, the 2 male is 8 weeks old(foster) and female is 2yo.
Anyways is it fine for me to split the cage between to male and female? As I don’t have a ability to find another companion for the 2yo as I’m moving to a new place next month with a smaller area and don’t have enough space for 4

I have three bonded girls guinea pig and one girl guinea pig that has been alone for a while. I've been putting them together for an hour a day for a couple weeks now and everything seems to be going good. But today I set them up in a permanent cage with a neutral reset, and they were okay for the first hour, but then they were very violent and needed to be separated. If I want them to successfully share a cage all together what should I do next?
