I have been to more monster jam events than I think anybody you’ve met without monster truck tisum because I used to work them my one piece of advice for anyone who goes bring earmuffs it is the single loudest thing you’ll ever experience and if you have to come and buy them from someone like me I will charge you $70 for a $10 pair of earmuffs

Dude, this unlocked such nostalgia for me. Dennis Anderson used to keep so much real estate in my head. I knew the trucks had multiple drivers, but when Dennis was in Houston I was hyped. Digger and Dennis are one in the same.

Met Dennis few years back at a monster jam it was him one of his boys and a few others he was a really chill dude but damn did I have a sore throat from the fumes in the arena couldn't hear properly either best couple of hundred quid I spent on me an my then partners boys

Less people get to watch that. Monster Jam uses stadiums to sell more tickets in centralized venues. It's about maximizing profits and sponsors first.

Yeah. It would be great if we could quadruple the size of the field that they drive around on but the issues you're going to have are spectators and weather. Right now we're doing what we can with arenas.

See, the problem Monster Jam has is venue.

In my city, they are literally driving on a basketball court.

They need a huge field to really stretch their legs

I noticed this too at my state fair.

They don't have enough space to get a proper launch distance off the ramps without having to immediately slam on the brakes.

I think part of this is because Monster Trucks are loud. Really loud. So they put them in stadiums to contain the noise. Which limits their "display".

I’ve worked both and the difference between a small town field and something like the GA dome is significant, the show they do in the dome is actually pretty amazing.
