Discussion We have the best arena. Without question.
When I went to the TD garden 3 years back, it was nice and all, the atmosphere was very good. And I had a ton of fun watching the game there (even if it was Leafs V Bruins).
But it just wasn't the Bell Centre.
The Bell Centre is the most fun, most energetic LOUDEST arena in the entire NHL. You can feel its aura from 5 blocks away, the fans are fucking nuts in the best possible way, we put so much into the presentation of the arena.
You get shivers from the pregame.
THE FUCKING PREGAME.
I went there for the game tonight and HOLY SHIT. What a feeling.

I live in Toronto, no comparison between Bell Centre and Scotiabank Arena . Bell Centre has, by far, the better and louder atmosphere . Too many corporate types in the lower bowl in Toronto while in MTL the lower bowl has real hockey fans.

I was at the game tonight too and it was crazy all night. The OT winner was a crowd meltdown, and I loved how the crowd stuck around and refused to allow a moment of silence in the 1st star interview … not sure how Cole heard any of the questions

Diehard Habs fan, I lived in Montreal in 1986 when I was 19 years old, I made it to one Stanley Cup finals game, and yes, they won the cup that year with a rookie Patrick Roy, and then everybody started to burn the city down, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, small town boy from New Brunswick, and there was a bonfire on the corner of St.Denis and Sherbrooke, with the fire truck showed up, they wouldn’t let them near it, you guys know how to party

Can confirm. I was at the game tonight (second one this year, yay!) and it was amazing.
Edit: and I’m from Toronto lol

We have the best fans. The Bell Centre is a generic office building and not fit for the most prestigious club in the world.

Most NHL players would agree.
