Gaming 2 local dinguses looking for 3rd/4th for casualish tabletop game night
mid 30's dudes looking for a peep or 2 to play board/card games.
planning a night this friday, october 16.
my game collection is somewhere around medium-light complexity but with some heavy ones.
waikiki/ala moana/kakaako area, couple times each month.
we know of the prominent game meetups but we sometimes just have friday after work or sunday free. Also open to be assimilated into another collective.
we can chat first or whatever. feel free to DM.

I own it, but I'm going through a long list of board games before I learn how to play it.

Just moved here and this is exactly the kind of thing I've been hoping to find. I'm mostly in the medium light camp too with a couple heavy games I never get to the table. Might have to swing by one of these once I'm settled in a bit more.

If I didn't have family obligations, I'd join you all to see what was up. Commenting mostly to say that if you don't get traction here, cross-post to https://www.reddit.com/r/hawaiigamers/ as well.

I believe plural of dingus is dingi. I could be wrong

because i tossed time to look up what kind words end in -i when in plural form: the probable origin of the word dingus is form the dutch word 'ding' meaning thing. my intended meaning of the word is "silly idiot". words with a greek or latin origin sometimes end in -i but there are probably exceptions that i can't be bothered to look up.

I’d recommend heading down to Armchair adventurer on Friday, set up. People will be interested and likely want to join in.
