Workbench Sucks
Having to collect blue, green, and silver “cogs” in addition to collecting items from each machine; And then paying coins once you’ve collected them to officially unlock levels that our machines already had on the 3 star system really. .

Hay Day should make all machines 50% cheaper if we have to upgrade them using coins

Naaa coins are easy to get and simply nothing to spend on when you actually play the game and put in effort

I dont have it yet, and I am confused by it all if I am honest. People DO talk about it, but it seems everyone just says the same wee bit about collecting cogs

Maybe it should cost no coins until you're going over the old three star level, and then you pay extra for it beeing even faster.

I think they should replace the cogs system with already existing currency, like barn/silo upgrade material and vouchers. It would add a level of strategy that the game currently lacks in my opinion. There would actually be a choice whether to upgrade the barn or the machine.

many of the town building upgrades and the tackle box upgrades use barn and silo materials... So how is that not the same strategy about which you are speaking? Doesn't seem lacking in my opinion.

The town and tacklebox are options but imo not really a choice you will ever make. Upgrading them is far less useful than extra barn/silo space, I think that upgrading machines that way is much more of a real choice

The workbench hasn't rolled out to everyone yet, has it? I swear I don't see it on my farm...

No it says beta still, hopefully they adjust the costs before adding all machines

also it requires lots of money each upgrade, but ngl, it does make the production process faster than the 3 star system
