Advice Help with time management

I am about a month and a half into DP1 and time management is already getting to me. I just wanted to ask anyone how they are possibl managing their time. I get I take hard subjects but it feels like its impossible to even get sleep anymore if I want to get a good grades (also yes I am aiming high on the IB so... idk my work has to be good quality)

Thanks guys for any advice as always!

(also ive tried searching this up and none of the advice has been any help thats why I'm asking here)

Honestly, the students I’ve seen hit 40+ without wrecking their sleep stop trying to make every task top quality and sort each week instead: full effort on anything that actually counts (IAs, tests, the EE later), a quick “good enough” pass on routine homework, and a short focused block every day rather than late-night marathons, since tired work usually comes out worse and takes twice as long anyway.

Honestly I wracked my brain about time management last year and being great at everything and being on time for everything so much so that I have started dp2 very lazily, I can't bring myself to do things the way I did them last year. So I'm giving you the advice I wish I had back then, literally take things one day at a time. If you are only able to get half the work you planned for done on one day, pick up where you left of the next day. If you have to half ass a test, do it. The best people I've seen in the IB are those who do not fall to stress. It will be your biggest enemy and please please please do not sacrifice your sleep. The goal here is consistency, you have to make it to the very end.
