Name it! What were these shelves called?

Post image

Can anyone ID these shelves? They were on sale for a very brief period in the late 1990s or early 2000s.

Sorry I don’t have a fuller picture. This all I have and it only shows the view from underneath.

(Also: ignore the hooks, they’re nothing to do with the shelves.)

EDIT: I just found a better picture on this page: https://boards.core77.com/t/modular-shelving/20365

For some reason I can’t attach the image, though. It appears under item 5, but there’s no name and the link is (of course) dead. This does at least date it to around 2008.

EDIT2: With that second image, I managed to find it: IKEA DIRIGENT. There are various pics online, once you know the name.

Ha! They’re certainly “all gone”, as they don’t sell them any more 😁

Did you mean algot? If so, no; these are very different from algot. These were very stylish and designer-y, whereas algot are much more workaday and not as pretty.

Yes, brushed aluminium. They are indeed awesome, but they only sold them for a year or so. I think that the pins that hook into the vertical wall struts were probably just too weak and bendy in aluminium.
