Question I have

I preach to a lot of people in my college about Krishna Consciousness. You can look at my old post for my preaching method Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/ISKCON/comments/1wsa5qd/my_preaching_method/

I usually have people do one round of chanting with me. But some people feel shy to chant, some start scrolling mid round, and some will not read Bhagavad Gita with me. Some poor souls were told by their parents false things about ISKCON and some feel like chanting, reading books and other devotee activities will make them lower in their non-devotee friend group. How do I take them away from these feelings?

Hare Krishna 🙏🙏
It may be a little difficult, but it is not impossible to do kirtan in that group. Music and the Holy Name have the power to perform miracles and touch people's hearts.
You can start by asking some simple questions, such as whether they read books or listen to movie songs, and whether they enjoy discussing them with their friends. In the same way, this is also a song, but it is the song of God, presented in the Bhagavad Gita.
The Bhagavad Gita is not an ordinary book. It is the manual of life that can transform our thoughts and our lives. Its wisdom helps remove suffering and gives true direction and purpose. You may also need to try different approaches to connect with people, but with patience and sincerity, it is possible.
