Digital AI-isolation, by me

Hey everyone, here's an illustration for this year's art contest organized by Festival Reflection of Terror. The theme was the theft from artists via generative AI. Even though these days I don't have a lot of free time, I really wanted to answer this year's call because it is definitely a sensitive topic and a force that is changing all of our lives, plus, something that made me question myself for pursuing the career and lifestyle of an artist and illustrator.

I hope you will like this illustration, swipe to see the painting process!

Whoa, the process is so cool. Not an illustrator, so the idea of creating it in layers and adding the lighting after the fact is so cool. (I just look at it and think, when you add the conveyor belt, you’re adding the color and the details and everything else all at once, not in stages)

Yeah this process of working has a lot of benefits, for starters it gives you the opportunity to make big changes with less efort and way faster. It's a bit different way of thinking compared with one layer style of painting, but once you get accustomed to it, it makes things way easer.
