To be fair the projectiles are pretty much RPGs, they just aren't shoulder fired.

I think they just look similar since they are both HEAT warheads.

They were designed by two different bureaus but there's only really one way to make a shape-charge, so they'll look similar.

Also: the Grom ammo don't have the spin-jets that the RPG-7 has, and it wouldn't surprise me if they are made from thicker steel too, since they are shot from a gun.

I'm sorry, but I have to say this... You need to cut budget of everything in half (yes even pre-loaded rpg budget) and spend it all on cat food. Cat takes priority.

Well, I wouldn’t be surprised if this turret was uparmored to hell and back. It’s not as if it has to be in a moving vehicle at this point, so why not add an extra inch of armor all around and beef up the turret traverse systems? (I’m just trying to find a reason why this would exist cause it seems awesome and it’s very inspiring for how bunkers should look in my own stories.)

It never was a vehicle. It is a concrete bunker with turret installed on the top. 

As for drones - bomb in the hatch if opened, or just antitank shell with a shaped charge. With so much explosives inside turret would beat Russian tanks tower flight records.

Actually, it might've come off a vehicle; reusing turrets from old armored vehicles as fortification turrets is fairly common IRL.

I believe the turret is meant to be something similar to a BMP-1 turret, which uses a 73mm low pressure gun. The rounds for that cannon look remarkably similar to RPG-7 rounds
