DISCUSSION Negative Vision Effects From Edibles?

I was wondering if eating edibles or smoking weed was proven to worsen your vision or stop you from getting gains.

Example: I go outside at 9:30AM for a full hour and print push for 10 - 30 minutes, then do eyes exercises for 5 -10 minutes (Smooth Pursuits, Eye Zig Zags, etc) and for the remaining time look at distant sun lit objects until my timer goes off. Hours after the session I eat an edible, would that automatically negate everything I did that morning?

I don't think an edible later would automatically undo what you did earlier. Cannabis can cause temporary changes in vision while you're high, but that's different from reversing long-term progress.

I’ve noticed that if I still have a residual high the next morning that my vision is a little better at the start than usual.

THC is known to have negative effects on the brain, but I'm not sure it is proven to negate or harm eyesight. If its a concern of yours, you could try not taking an edible after vision exercises for a few days and see if you feel an improvement.
