Ask IndiaTech Someone said my area location from a youtube comment section and i am concerned..

I created a fake email account and a fake youtube account from it and commented on a youtube video.

Few moments later he replied my locality and i am pretty concerned

How could he have done it considering my accounts are new and how can i stop further info leak.

Please help

I have no knowledge in tech

Use a proxy server to shield your IP address which can be easily backtracked to your general location

Not sure. Maybe your Google account exposed that info?

It was new and i didn't even enter my mobile number or backup emails

Again, your IP address used to create the account reveals your general location.
