Additional card annual fee

I currently hold Bobcard Eterna LTF.

As an additional card, I'm being offered Bobcard Etihad CC with shared limit, but there's no mention of card's annual & joining fee.

Is it LTF or chargeable?

Card portfolio review

Post image
5 Upvotes

Review my card portfolio. Scapia wasn't physically present so a placeholder will do. Also applied for HSBC travel one to get into the accor ecosystem.

Most of them are LTF except SBI cashback, SBI octane and PNB rupay waves off fee by only using the card once in a quarter.

Got saphhiro for 500 off on movies but didn't know they added the spend criteria. Totally useless now.

Any other card recommendations?

So basically I just opened my report and see this random SHRIRAMFIN loan. I have never applied for it and of course never repaid it back from my end. How did this end up in my account and how do I remove it?

For those who haven’t upgraded from the old Swiggy HDFC card to the new orange and black variant, are you still able to use your existing card? Are the benefits and rewards unchanged?

I had applied for Axis Scapia credit card 3 days back, completed Video KYC and the Video KYC agent asked me to wait for 72 hours.

Today after approximately 75 hours from the time of video KYC, I received this message from Scapia telling me that my application is incomplete and I need to visit the link and complete the application. After clicking on the link it's showing me that my KYC is in progress. WTH am I supposed to do here?

Question on SBI credit cards

Are SBI PhonePe, Tata Neu and BPCL cards eligible for Instant bank discounts and sale discounts on Amazon and flipkart? These are cobranded ones so I have these doubts.

If anyone have experience with them then please do share. I did have HDFC Tata Neu plus card but it would give less discount than the core cards.

Planning to take an SBI Credit card for bank discounts but SimplyCLICK and Save looks kinda useless as I have better cards than them so I would end up not using them outside Amazon and Flipkart sales. If these cobranded ones qualify then I can use them for bank discounts and other purposes too like fuel or utility.

Need help with which CC to apply for

Hey guys I’m a 22M, living in bangalore. I just got a job here last month, my monthly in hand is close to 1.4L. I don’t have a CIBIL score. I just opened a salary account with hdfc bank and I want to apply for a credit card but I get confused as to which one I should go for. I was thinking of getting the hdfc millennia or the regalia gold (I don’t think they will let me have the regalia) or hsbc live +. I occasionally order food from online apps on the weekends and during the weekdays I have food in office, I would prefer a card that has some lounge access benefits because I do travel like 4-5 times a year between Bombay and Bangalore, besides this I do spend money of going out to eat but not a lot. I think I would prefer a card with reward points that I can use on flights or hotels because I like travelling a lot, but then again I’m new to all this so idk if I should do that. I have heard that axis bank also has a lot of good cards.

Please help me with your recommendation. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Looking for a credit card that offers up to 10% cashback on purchases from Amazon and Flipkart.

Earlier I was using the Jupiter credit card, which offered 10% cashback on many merchants, especially Amazon and Flipkart, which we use daily. But since it devalued, there is no cashback now.

Can you suggest any alternatives?

I still hold the HDFC Swiggy credit card, but its maximum cashback is only 5%.

Question on SBI credit card.

So I am planning to take an SBI card for sales and bank discount. Saw many people getting basic cards with low fees converted to LTF. For some even the BPCL Octane card.

I am thinking of taking the SBI BPCL Card (not Octane). Its fees is 499 plus gst. My primary fuel card is IDFC Power Plus. I dont want to take SimplySAVE or SimplyCLICK cuz I know I can only use them during bank discounts. For regular spends I have better cards. So having SBI BPCL makes a good backup fuel card as well as an SBI Card for bank discounts. Paying card fees for now is not an issue but I will try converting it LTF.

So which card has a better chance of getting converted LTF? BPCL card or SimplyCLICK/SimplySAVE. Can plan taking them accordingly.

HSBC Live+ Credit Card Approved – Can I Change the Delivery Address Before Dispatch?

Hi everyone,

I recently applied for the HSBC Live+ Credit Card, and my application has been approved.

However, I have a concern regarding the delivery address. The card is likely to be delivered to my current address in Gurgaon, but I want it to be delivered to my permanent address instead. Unfortunately, my permanent address is showing as unserviceable.

Since my application is already approved and the card has not yet been delivered, I wanted to ask:

  1. Can I change the credit card delivery address from Gurgaon to my permanent address at this stage?

  2. If yes, how can I request this change before the card is dispatched or the delivery process begins?

  3. Has anyone successfully changed their HSBC credit card delivery address after approval? If so, what was the process?

I would really appreciate it if anyone who has faced a similar situation could share their experience or guide me on the steps I should take.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Suggestion for credit cards

So, I’m 18 now and looking to get my first credit card.

For context, I come from a decent upper-middle-class family and help manage my parents’ finances. I’ve been using their credit cards for both household and personal expenses, but now I want to get a credit card of my own.

I earn around ₹40,000–₹50,000 per month through freelancing, so I’m looking for a good bank account that could eventually help me get a pre-approved credit card.

Currently, I have three bank accounts:

  1. YES BANK – YES Premia segment

  2. IDFC FIRST Bank – ₹25,000 AMB requirement

  3. State Bank of India (SBI)

I’m considering closing my IDFC FIRST Bank account since I barely use it and opening an HDFC Bank account instead, mainly because of its credit card offerings.

I’d really appreciate your recommendations on this. Should I open an HDFC Bank account, or would it be better to maintain my existing banking relationships and explore credit card options through YES BANK or another bank?

Thanks in advance! 🙌

Scapia RuPay card taking longer than expected despite Visa approval in one day

I applied for the Scapia credit card through a friend's referral via Bank of Baroda (BOB). My Visa card was approved and generated within a day, with a credit limit of ₹3.6 lakh.

However, the RuPay card is taking much longer. The app currently says, “We're getting your RuPay card ready for you,” and mentions that it will be available by 19th October, which is today. I'm not sure what's causing the delay or whether I should expect any further updates.

For context, I have over 5 years of credit history, hold credit cards from Axis Bank, ICICI, HDFC, and SBI, and earn more than ₹1.5 lakh per month.

Has anyone else faced a similar delay with the Scapia RuPay card? Did it get activated on the promised date, or did you have to contact customer support?

Axis Bank flipkart credit card processing time

Post image
3 Upvotes

Every time I applied for an Axis Bank credit card in the past, my application got rejected. Most of the time, it was rejected even before I was given the option to complete the KYC process.

However, this time I was given the option for Video KYC (VKYC), but there has been no update since then. I do not have any existing bank account or relationship with Axis Bank. Is this normal, or is there an issue? I haven't received any calls or physical verification visits yet. I have already sent an email to the Nodal Office as well.

What do you think could be happening here? Is it likely to be approved or rejected?
