Discussion What do You Think of Infinity Train Ongoing Comic?

Post image

That is my Question

So I made this post before but things changed since then you see when I Imagine Infinity Train continuing as Comic I think it would be an All Ages comic darker then your usual one you know given the series themes but then Dynamite did Darker take on BEN TEN being Teen rated comic

So because that it changed the game Infinity Train comic can be Teen rated comic to if BEN TEN can then Infinity Train shouldn't have an issue weather its Dynamite or Oni Press

So with Darker BEN TEN comic do you think Comic continuation of Infinity Train should fallow suit?

My ideal creative team would be Owen Dennis with art by Soo Lee

But thats me what do you think?

Infinity Train already wore it's American indie comic Influence on its sleeve so I'd be alright with that being how it continues tbh.

Yeah it be neat I re introduce Infinity Train as in issue of BEN TEN then spin-off into its own title if Dynamite has the comic license would be my move

I would read it as a graphic novel but not as a comic, i feel the short form is not good for the series.

I didn't realize graphic novels are different from comics. Is the difference due to the length, or something else?

Yeah I mean 6 issue arc is basically a graphic novel really & literally

Graphic novels are just a more fancy and marketable way to name comics, I don't get what you are trying to say by comics being shorter than graphic novels

Comics normally refers to the weekly or monthly released issues that usually under 30 pages long. I feel infinity train's emotionally charged story would loose its momentum in that form.

Sorry, I don't want the story in a different form.

Why not? Final Space, another show that was screwed over by the merger, we finally got our finish to the story in graphic novel form, which is available here, if you're interested.

I don't understand why you are against graphic novels as a medium.

I'm not against the medium. I just want the stories to finish in the original medium the author wanted. Frankly, don't put words in my mouth.

I didn't put words in your mouth. I took it as you saying you're not really into graphic novels, not that you're against them. I never claimed you were.

So don't put words in my mouth either.

Yep, but limited edition only and costs $125, plus shipping, taxes and tariffs, which pushes the costs up.

Olan was allowed to do this by the studio, but limited edition only, hence the expensive price.

Olan acknowledges that fans will eventually scan and distribute digital copies, like what I'm doing here.

I think whatever form it takes in the future, with its premise, Infinity Train could potentially go on for, well, infinity.

Perhaps as a series of graphic novels, each one covering what a season of the show would. At least I would want some closure on Hazel.
