A developer just contacted me and told me that the release of the frame gen has been delayed until November 5th, which is the release date of the first season of the game.

I’ve had my G3 extreme handheld for 2 months now, and I’m still blown away by the frame gen. Even at 4x the artifacting and latency is pretty minimal.

Super resolution on the other hand has been underwhelming. I have a 5090 in my main PC so I’m used to the quality of DLSS… also had a series of AMD handhelds and also have experience with FSR 3.5/4.

I guess I expected XeSS-SR to be closer to DLSS than FSR3.5, but honestly it’s been pretty rough. Even on Ultra Quality Plus the image is noticeably blockier. It’s not like DLSS where Quality mode is virtually indistinguishable from native resolution.

My move these days is just to put SR in native AA mode and use framegen to increase FPS. I’m hoping there’s updates to the SR models and we see something closer to DLSS/FSR4. Shame because the framegen is absolutely amazing.

bought 1 month after launch. if it would've broke 3 months later I would be crying. 2 years of warranty is the best.

I've been running my Arc B570 with an i5-10500 for the past few months, but honestly, I'm getting tired of dealing with all this annoying stuttering in games like Marvel Rivals and Fortnite.

From what I've heard, PCIe 3.0 doesn't really affect performance that much, so I'm guessing my CPU is the main problem here.

My first question is, is there any way to upscale to 1440p? I have a 1080p monitor, and I used to be able to do that with my RTX through the Nvidia Control Panel.

And my second question is, would upgrading to an i7-10700 actually fix the issue? I'm kinda worried about putting that CPU in my H410M H V2 motherboard since I don't wanna end up frying it.

Hi, I’d like to know if it’s normal for my PC to run Overwatch at 20–40 FPS for the first...I don’t know....10 minutes or so, and then jump to 80–100 FPS, without remaining stable

I’ve been having a lot of trouble with the graphics card; my PC started freezing whenever I played any game. I contacted the store where I bought the card, and they want me to send in the entire PC for testing. However, I reinstalled Windows yesterday and managed to play a few sessions—though with low FPS, as I mentioned earlier—but at least the PC didn’t freeze. What do you think? Could the card have been defective from the start? Or is the issue with my PC? (I felt like it didn’t perform well right from the beginning, even though it did work.)

Known Issues & Investigations

• Battlemage VF Curve: Currently affected in both Intel Graphics Software and Arc Power. Awaiting an Intel fix. Verified on 9150 WHQL.
• Sysman Tweaks: Advanced Wattage and Negative Voltages may require Windows 11 and recent Intel drivers. Verified working on A770, A750, and A580. Issues may be OS-dependent or caused by outdated cache data. Clear the cache via Arc Power Settings or %appdata% if necessary.
• FPS Monitoring: RTSS must run in the background for accurate FPS readings. The RTSS overlay is not required.

I have an intel arc a 750 on the newest uptade and the game is giving me a gpu error crash at startup before getting to main menu .if the game is working for anyone can yall tell what driver uptade should i rollback to

Recently saw so many ps5 emulation gaming video where nvidia gpus like 4050 running so good on vulkan.Why cant arcb580 do it? Will we get Better performance in emulation ever?

Just wanted to share (another) coil whine video of a B70. This is a replacement card, the first one died after 2 days of use (no video signal). Replacement took 3 months (!) to arrive. Will have a chat with Intel support about what to expect in the future.

System will move to a different space after final setup so I'm not too worried about that design feature. I've been using a B50 before for local inference which had no issues at all. Considering to get a Mac mini instead. Depends on what Intel have to say.

With the news of Nvidia either ending or slowing down RTX 5090s by quite a lot, I hope Intel could maybe reconsider making the C series GPUs or a B770 family. The big 2 are competing over AI and I hope that Intel may takeover & establish itself as a proper position in the current market, yes the B580 & 570 were very well received but they arn't getting any younger, and Intel continuing their consumer grade GPUS would I believe a big win in trust between consumers who are looking for alternative with the current issues with lack of innovation currently with so much AI going around.

A month ago I posted here when DLSS Neural Rendering first ran on an Intel Arc 140V at 3-5 FPS, and two weeks ago an update at ~30 FPS at 640x360. Back then I said I'd make a separate post once Windows was ready for easier testing. This is that post.

What's new:

• NVIDIA's new, smaller model (preset B). The nvngx_dlssnr.dll 310.9.16 from NBA 2K27's update carries a second network, and it now runs on Xe2 beside the original one. You choose between them. On the same Arc 140V its network takes about half the time of the original. As before, none of NVIDIA's code runs: the network is reimplemented, and your DLL is only where the weights come from.
• A Windows release with a setup app. You pick your DLL, the game's .exe and its API (Vulkan, or DirectX 8-11 through DXVK), then press Install. It extracts the weights on your PC and runs a speed test. Remove NR puts the game's folder back as it was.
• An experimental option that keeps frames on the GPU instead of copying them through the CPU. With it and the new model, Mortal Kombat 11 at 1280x720 (render scale 0.4) runs NR at ~37 FPS on the 140V, against ~23 with the original model. Without this option the new model doesn't add FPS yet, and I'm still looking into why.

Coming next: an in-game settings overlay on the INS key (by a contributor, in review now), and DirectX 12 through the game's own XeSS. A prototype already runs in Hogwarts Legacy, and I'm reworking it so frames stay on the GPU.

You need Windows 10/11, an Xe2 GPU (B580/B570 and should work on B50/60/65/70, or Lunar Lake's Arc 130V/140V; A-series isn't supported yet), 64-bit Python, and your own nvngx_dlssnr.dll: 310.9.16.0 for both models, 310.8.0.0 for the original. The DLL and the weights are NVIDIA's and are not included. Stick to single-player games offline, since anti-cheat may treat a DLL next to the game as tampering

It's still an experimental research project, not a drop-in replacement for native DLSS. B570/B580 owners, I'd really like to see your numbers. "Save report" in the setup app collects your GPU, driver, settings and the speed test into one file. Attach it to a GitHub issue together with the game, resolution and FPS with NR on and off.

I'm getting a laptop with the Intel i7 Ultra 258V and Intel Arc Graphics 140V GPU. I need it for light-medium gaming (Minecraft with shaders, CS2, running above 60 fps without lag). I also need it for 3d modeling and designing things. It's currently at a $400 discount. Do you think this is a good choice? Computer specs are in the image above.
