Where should I add the storage
So my master bedroom bathroom sink is like the picture and currently is very messy because there’s very limited storage room. We are gonna remodel it but not sure where is the best place for storage. Can you give me some ideas?
Thank you!

I put a large mirrored medicine cabinet to replace the mirror. It goes across the whole width of the vanity and has three adjustable shelves. Took care of all the clutter all over the counter for years.

I put a small shelf ( narrow. not deep) on the side wall to keep things I constantly use. There are some pretty shelves out there. Has worked well.

Declutter first. Setup probably works but highly specific combs/brushes are overpoplating a drawer. Inefficient open cabinet storage in the two door part, too.

Wow this looks like my guest bathroom! Down to the cabinet design, layout, mirror and light fixture which I changed out. Anyway I have a recessed medicine cabinet on the left wall between the door and the mirror.

I’m sorry for not answering your question but, are you invisible or am I tripping out?

That's 8 drawers more than I got. (Single vanity house and five people.)
But you can try shelving on the side walls, or replacing the mirror with a medicine cabinet.

I live in an older house and there's not too many options for storage. What I've found works is to keep only what you need for that location in that spot and move everything else somewhere else. Makeup, perfume, toiletries go here but extra toilet paper can go in the top of the closet, extra shampoo can go in the hall closet. We turned a shelf in the laundry room into a medicine cabinet (it's right by the kitchen for us so it makes more sense). Sometimes if you can't fix the space, changing how you use it can provide the same effect.

I think it makes sense. My partner actually told me the same thing - instead of adding more storage maybe just reorganizing them.

You have some choices. Do you want to keep this vanity/sink area open to the rest of the bedroom? If the door to the closet is in the vanity area (like the first photo you posted), are you willing to relocate the door to the bedroom wall instead?
Least expensive option, would be to just replace cabinetry. Go with a smaller vanity unit and place a tall upright cabinet to the right of the sink. This would give you less counter top surface but more closed storage. By placing it to the right of sink, you'll avoid having to move light switch on left wall. If you want to enclose this space, a wall could be added with a door pretty easily. I would recommend a pocket door here. By adding the wall/door, you gain some wall space to add hooks or towel bar.
If you relocate the closet door to the bedroom wall, you'll need to reconfigure the closet layout and you'll lose wall space in the bedroom, which is something to consider if you have a dresser there. What you gain by moving the door, is more wall space in the vanity area which allows for more cabinetry or a linen closet in the vanity area.
