He would have been perfect for Thragg. What we needed was on the nose. Thragg is supposed to strike fear and demand obedience, his voice alone should do that. Lee Pace aint that at all.

Since I first read the comic after season 1 I had been hoping for Ron Perlman, I think he could balance the sinister calm but barely concealed rage underneath better than anyone. Oh well.... Hopefully Lee Pace is good in the next two episodes, because if he doesn't nail it thats a significant nock on an already bruised show for me.

Fair. I didn't like Conquest at his reveal but it "clicked" pretty quick with me once I heard him fighting in the finale.
I'm reserving judgement on Thragg's voice actor until the next two eps but I'm def a little underwhelmed so far.

Yes people complained I was there. Many were mentioning other VAs who they thought would fit the role better until they allowed Jeffrey Dean Morgan to actually cook. Then everyone switched up on their stance and there were no complaints about him again.

edit: In retrospect, it is pretty accurate to Cory's Thragg overall while many people would prefer Ryan's Thragg, but I still feel there are some errors. They may not be present during Thragg's more important scenes that will have higher fidelity animation.
