I don't know why I always skipped over these guys when exploring new jam music. Decided to pick a song from one of their most recent shows on Nugs. Really loved everything about it from start to finish. They straight up drop into an Eyes of the World cover then back to Poseidon, crazy. Anyone have any good recommendations for standout shows or jams by PPPP?

Broad Brook Opera House

Listening to Blue Light Rain and it's as good as I remembered.
But now in the era of JRAD and many others it doesn't sound like jazz to me anymore. It's just super tight rock.

Was it ever jazz? Is JRAD jazz? Am I losing my mind?

Had the pleasure of sharing the bill with these guys last night in Reno, and man, they ROCK! Cool cats, totally professional, a whole load of fun.

I can't imagine a better night of music for $10-$15 (and looking at their tour page, they play a fair number of free shows too).

Get out and support these guys!

Damn these boys laid down 6 or 7 seven songs over the course of 2 hours last night in Reno. Not even they know their own bounds🤯 Headin to Tahoe tonight for another round!

The Big Wu honored Bobby last night in downtown St. Paul. NFA!! ⚡️

Rebubula first set closer

Finally heard Dogs In A Pile this week and really dug them. What are some good shows of theirs to listen to? They are coming near me in a few months so gonna go check em out in person.

52 face, can't make it anymore if anyone wants to score a deal let me know!

Great show. I don’t know who the keyboardist was (he was a bit basic) but the other three were on fire.

Hey yall! We’re live streaming tonight from Nevada City, CA - we do this on our YouTube for every show that has strong enough WiFi - hope you enjoy! Doing 2 sets tonight and going late 🙏🫟 9:30pm PST

Checking them out in NYC tonight. Anyone a fan?
Heard one or two songs on YT. Seems Billyesque.

Help me out here. I've seem them a handful of times over the years. But what I'm looking for are their best full shows on YouTube.

My (30F) fiancè (33M) and I are getting married and listen to primarily jam bands, psych rock, post-punk, microtonal shit and other music on the more niche end of the spectrum. We are the only ones in the family who have this particular taste in music. I guess what i'm curious about, jam fans what did you do with your wedding playlists? How to incorporate music that we will actually like and also not confuse all of our guests? I literally couldn't tell you what is on mainstream radio at this point and would really rather not listen to pop princess songs. its a fun combination of yes its our wedding and also weddings are sort of for the guests so idk man.

For reference - our top listens are goose, gizz, dead, DMB, eggy, dogs in a pile, angine, pigeons etc.

any help is appreciated :)

Didn't know what to expect, and was blown away.

Also loved that it was an 8-10:30 show. Was able to make it out and in bed by 11:30 on a week night!

Seems like these guys get slept on a bit, always put on a great show. Andy is an underrated guitar player & the band rips. Believe it was the first time they’ve played with a different banjo player, took him a second to find his footing but they found it & crushed. Definitely one of the best bluegrass groups & live acts going.
