The wildest Jessica Jones variant without a doubt (Variants #5)
Our Jess was canonically crushing on Peter, so Mary Jane and Felicia dodged a heat-seeking nuclear warhead

Wait? How do her powers work now?

Jessica's powers work like normal, they didn't change.
That Jessica is an energy thief like DC's Parasite.
That storyline also had a Jessica who looked to be an Asgardian, a synthezoid, seemingly a Hand trained assassin ala Electra, a Captain America, a barbarian ala Conan, a Power Woman, a Superman like variant, a cyborg, and a wild west gunslinger.

Any chance we might get a mainline Jessica power up? I know she doesnt need them for Alias or Defenders, but i wouldnt be opposed to her having something more to set herself a bit more individualistically. It doesnt even need to be Rogue just something new could be cool.

Ok ok her murdering everyone was a bit much but kissing the Cyclops poster is very relatable.

So how did she steal rouges powers or did she get rouges powers in that universe??

From what I gathered, she was born with powers that were similar to Rogues.
They’re not Rogue’s Powers and Rogue still has her powers. Jessica just had a similar power.

I didn't end up liking the miniseries much, but I did appreciate Gail's twists and turns.

this is like the thinly veiled disdain of the author for the x-men. like wildly different from og jessica's history.

I think you are overthinking it. The writer has talked about how she has liked the X-Men in the past and currently is writing the X-Men right now.

To be fair she's writing a X-Men book that's all about her OCs, in an era that's bleeding readers left and right. Between her, MacKay, and Brevoort don't think there's much passion for the X-Men there.

So basically this Jessica variant is a superpowered overly attached girlfriend. 😳😒

Stalker, not girlfriend. Real life stalkers can actually be this delusional and dangerous

It's a reference to the meme. I'm not saying she's literally his girlfriend.

Never heard of that meme

So this version of Jessica Jones has similar powers to Rogue but there are notable differences, Jessica Jones might have a stronger version(it's unknown if she got the drop on her version of Rouge or if she still had the other X-Men powers & that helped against her Rogue)of Rogue's or at least her Rogue's power but we don't know if she can stack, there's no evidence of this Jessica Jones being able to absorb from a distance & we know for sure this version Jessica Jones can't permanently absorb there are panels showing/saying sooner or later she loses the powers she steals even if she kills them in the process
