I saw a post about a pendant on this sub, and I immediately had an idea pop up in my mind, so i decided to share it why not :p
It’s a bit too tall vs wide, but you get the gist.
Sorry if it’s cringy lmao

Hi - have been on this sub a while and generally trust the judgement of friends on here. Has anyone watched this show, and if so what's it like in terms of politics/outlook?
Premise (not a spoiler) is that the protagonist is "...a Mossad hacker-agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity to help destroy Iran's nuclear reactor; when her mission fails and she's trapped in a new life". It has quite good reviews and I like Hugh Laurie who seems to play a key role. But I want to know if I'm likely watching bad shit.
Of course, I can make my own mind up and I will give it a couple of episode of course but always keen to hear people's thoughts. Creator is Moshe Zonder.

Along with my new watermelon charm, I knew I also needed my Star to be from an antizionist Jewish maker. Y’all had sent links in my previous post and I got myself this beautiful, beveled edge Star from Sarah Day (you can find her work here: https://www.arcanasaj.com/products/silver-mini-cosmic-magen-david-necklace-in-navy)
I also wear this pin on my bag from another Jewish artist I had found on Etsy.
Would love to see photos of anyone else’s pieces they wear to express themselves! By outwardly expressing our views, we normalize antizionism and let people know we are a safe space. 💖✌️

Suggestions welcome! It’s my first try. The materials were inexpensive (resin and stainless steel).

“Doikayt”. Meaning, “Where we live is our homeland”. The official philosophy of the Jewish Labor Bund of Lithuania, Poland and Russia. The OG Socialist Anti-Zionist Jews, whose legacy I vow to carry on. Now a promise etched in my skin to always fight for freedom. 🇵🇸✡️ ☭🌹🔻🚩

Very happy with how this turned out. Going to get a nicer chain for the star at some point but this is a good concept at least.

Today I am remembering that Jewish and Palestinian safety are intertwined. I am remembering to stand on my morals and keep myself educated and not close my eyes to things that are hard to look at. I am grieving for all of the souls we’ve lost and will continue to lose.
I designed this graphic to be shared by anyone who resonates with the message. The design was inspired by other art I’ve seen throughout the year of combining watermelons that represent Palestine with the Star of David which represents Judaism. “Never again” is a saying that is used in reference to the Holocaust. To me and my family, that meant no one anywhere should ever experience what our family and ancestors were put through. I hold this sentiment in my core.
As I reflect upon this past year, I see how far away we seem to be from peace. I pray that a year of endless war will bring perspective to those that choose to look away. On this earth, we are all siblings. We are all connected, and we are all responsible for one another. Today, I pray for true unity, genuine understanding and heartfelt empathy.
Love to all 💖✌️✡️🍉🕊️🤝

“I am incredibly privileged, because smears of being an anti-Semite don’t stick to me. I’m such a proud Jew. But I’m certain there are community members who hate me for this, many of them in my business, and they won’t work with me and want nothing to do with me.”
Instead of feeling anger, she says she feels a sense of sadness and loss. “I am sad for them. They are trapped in an ideological prison that stops them from seeing other people’s humanity. They’re trapped because of the massive propaganda campaign waged against them since the moment they could understand language.” Her views have cost her familial relationships, too. “I don’t know that they will ever be repaired, but I have found a family elsewhere in the rich anti-Zionist Jewish community.”

I like the JVP star of david flower thing, but is there anything more widely recognized?

As an artist and his ‘brand’ he’s built in the west as a popular Palestinian artist. Do you think his visibility helps to promote the cause and normalize Palestinian liberation in the west? He clearly has more integrity than someone like DJ Khaled (🤮), and seems to have better awareness around his actions than Elyanna (who is also very popular in the west).

I have a Star of David Tattoo that I got many years ago at this point and it’s since become very uncomfortable to look at because of its association with the Israeli flag and anti-Palestinian vandalism.
Been brainstorming cover up ideas and randomly fell into this one.
I probably won’t do it….unless…

Someone did another Palestinian-coded Star of David, and I wanted one that incorporated a watermelon and Kafiyeh. Let me know what you think:)

I’m kind of here just to vent because no one seems to understand. My father in law is a self proclaimed “zionist”. He’s said things to me like “ the Palestinians are all pests and deserve to be exterminated”. My husband and I are very anti Zionist. We fight with him all the time about this and it’s gotten to the point that i can no longer stand being anywhere near him. We are about to have our first baby and we went from him watching her 2 days a week to now enrolling her in daycare because I don’t want him near my half-Arab daughter. He’s literally laughed in my face in the past and said who cares if more brown people die. This is more than a moral issue for me at this point and we are probably going to move to another state in the next two years to be away from him.

On DNA Tests, Diaspora, and the Myth of Origins. Especially interested in hearing from others who have thoughts about the relationship between ancestry, conversion, and what it actually means to belong to a people in the modern world.

I made this piece the other day honoring the 87th anniversary of Kristallnacht. My distant relatives were among the 91 killed in Berlin that night, something that was completely unknown by my family until about a year ago. I continue to fight against fascism today, for while I may no longer be a target, people close to me are. Nie wieder ist jetzt. 💙✡️⚛️
