Melania was given a green card for different reasons than others, and it's not because she was an Einstein. She's not a smart woman.

she also lied about the university she went to and graduating, lied about being an architect. when this was highlighted she scrubbed it off the white house page, this was around the time she plagurized michelle obama's speech. lied about the languages she could speak, which was shown to be a farce as soon as she met with the french 1st lady and could barely speak french at all lmao

Why canāt he just be gracious? Itās insane to me. The leader of the free world has to act like this.

The US president doesn't get that title anymore. It wouldn't come back either if you pick someone sane for the next term. The fall has been precipitous and that mantle would take decades to return, if ever.

u/PreCooledPigeon Monkey in Space 2d ago
Yeah, thatās laughable. The United States is the engine that runs the free world, but you can say whatever you want.

u/locutogram Monkey in Space 2d ago
America now struggles to secure trade agreements with other affluent western countries ("the free world") and can't get them on board for diplomatic or military alliances to get anything done internationally.
But "leader of the free world" was always a symbolic term that reflected confidence in American leadership (soft power). That is now mostly gone. America is anathema in affluent western politics and confidence in American leadership hasn't been lower in a century. If you want to lose an election in the free world today, just cozy up to America.
Dollars have value because people believe they do. Similarly, America has power because people believe they do. They increasingly don't believe that anymore.

His point is Obama only got into Harvard because he's black thru Affirmative Action. Otherwise he would bot have been smart enough to go to Harvard

An actual Nimrod pandering to his base of other actual nimrods. I see black faces behind Diaper Dump and can only surmise they are there because of being paid to be there. Or perhaps they are nimrods, too.

Hey I read X-Men and Nimrod seemed pretty smart to me. I mean he was similar to MAGA and that he wanted to kill off every Mutant in the world just like most of MAGA would love to do to anyone not in their cult. But in terms of IQ Nimrod was well above Trump and his followers.

I would say a rich man's achievement can never be earned on merit.

The irony is that he was the dumbest one in his class. Some nerve he has. If he ever got into any schools itās because of favors not merit. Just like everything else in his entire life.

Well...when you actually DO let people in based on racial quotas, those that get in purely on merit will always be doubted. It wouldn't be different if you changed all the races. Another good reason to get rid of this bullshit and base things purely on merit. Not rocket surgery.

u/PolitelyHostile Monkey in Space 1d ago
But do white people have their credentials doubted simply because rich white people like Trump get in while having no merit?
