However it's since come out that he was recovering from the flu and stayed up all night studying numbers to try to factually win the debate
Of course it quickly devolved into personal grievances and attacks because Trump...enough said....which required wit...not fact.
So Biden clearly stumbled all over himself during that debate.
Every single appearance after that he was fine. It was fine. He also didn't sound like he did during the debate.
During the debate you could barely make out his voice even. Due to him recovering

Now we are witnessing a similar situation with Senator McConnell. The same tired old talking points about him “not knowing where he is” (ripped straight from the playbook used against Biden).
Just as you pointed out with Biden being up all night studying the literature and being tired the next day which completely explains his “poor” debate performance and his all of his stumblings, this is exactly what is going on with McConnell. The politically incompetent are too foolish to put 2 and 2 together.
People love to riff on Biden and McConnell, but nobody knows the work Biden and McConnell put in. While biden spends his nights studying literature and managing numbers, making him appear tired during the day, you also have McConnell. He took an extended break from the senate reading up on all of the bills and studying so he could know the laws more better. Sometimes when asked a question, he is processing dozens of facts at a time, and his brain just works so much faster than his mouth and his speech isn’t able to keep up.
I really wish people knew more about this stuff like you do, so kudos seeing such a refreshing take
