Art Training Day (Batober 2026)
Hello everyone, I'm doing the Batober challenge over my IG and I thought I could share this one here, the prompt was "DEFEATED" and I thought if there is anyone that could sneak a sucker punch to Batman it would be Ted. I could draw Wildcat every day honestly. Hope you like it.

Comic Johns’ era solo stuff
Hello I’m just getting into the JSA and am starting with the first compendium. I was wondering how essential/recommended stuff like Hourman, Starman, and Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. are for the main narrative. Also just generally what some of the runs of these are.

Comic The end of an era
I remember seeing ads for this story back in the early 90’s and finally got around to reading this collection.
Such a great ending to the Golden Age era! Not only do we get issues 1-8 in this collection, we also get a reprints of All Star Comics 57 and Adventure Comics 466 which picks up where this series leaves off (more or less.)
What are everyone’s thoughts on this story? And do you all feel that this story wraps up the Golden Age arc well?

Comic I snagged the B cover of JSA 24 at my LCS yesterday. It features Wildcat by Teddy Kristiansen. I enjoyed the story and I’m sad to see JSA end. Anybody else pick it up? 🥊

Comic Now that it’s FINALLY over and we’re FINALLY free from him. What were your least favorite parts of Lemire’s run?
For me it’s killing off Ted and how little he seems to know about every character

Discussion Who is your favorite founding favorite of the Justice Society of America and why are they your favorite members out of the original team ?
Hello everyone! So, if you don't know, I have been making posts about who your favorite founding member of a superhero team is, related to either DC or Marvel Comics. I am doing the same question for the first-ever superhero team in comic book history, the Justice Society of America. I am pretty excited for this discussion, as these characters are lesser known compared to the Justice League and the Avengers (the other superhero teams that I have made posts related to this question) so I am really curious to know who your favorite founding member of the Justice Society of America is, based on the comics that you have read about them. (Edit: I have also decided to ask the same questions for supervillains teams so be prepared when I ask the same question for the Injustice Society.)

Comic Here is the two-issue Elseworlds mini, JSA the Liberty File. It stars Dr. Mid-Nite, Hourman & Batman. In this tale they are called The Owl, The Clock & The Bat. I really enjoyed this, anybody else?

Comic Should the original Amazing Man join the modern JSA?
The time echo displaced Amazing Man (along with Helena Wayne) are currently in Justice League Unlimited.
Should that Amazing Man join the modern JSA in the present?

Discussion Does any other writer address the idea that Clark lives long enough to be in the Legion of Superheroes time period?
I’m finishing Johns’ run on the JSA, and I know that this is specifically Kingdom Come Clark that lives to this era, but it’s a concept neat enough that I wouldn’t be shocked if some other writer played with it. Not as an active plot point per se, but in an unnamed cameo way. Like with the 90’s Marvel shows and the way they’d do cameos by just naming the characters “Mutant #15” or whatever. I’m sure that Old Man Clark’s never had an official reappearance after this, but I’m curious if he’s shown up in any other books set in the Far Distant Future.
Any Legion of Superheroes fans got any clue? Or if you don’t have any clue, would you like to see Old Man Clark pop up? I could see him being applied in neat and minor ways without filing acknowledging it’s him
