I'm an international applicant for the Bachelors scholarship at King Saud University and King Abdulaziz University through the Study in Saudi portal (open April 19 – May 21, 2026).

I noticed that a SAT requirement was added to the program details after the portal opened. The problem: the May 2 SAT registration closed on April 17, before the requirement appeared. The June 6 SAT is after the May 21 deadline. No international applicant who hadn't already taken the SAT has any realistic way to comply.

KSU and KAU has never required SAT for international bachelor's applicants in previous cycles. I've already emailed the Deanship of Admission of King Saud University and also visited the university in person, met with the Dean and Vice Dean, and submitted a ticket on the Study in Saudi portal. The consistent response is "it's from the Ministry."

I'm writing here because this likely affects hundreds of applicants from Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and beyond. If you're affected, I'd encourage you to:

1. Email [darcare@ksu.edu.sa](mailto:scholarship.dar@ksu.edu.sa) or [info@kau.edu.sa](mailto:info@kau.edu.sa) with your concern
2. Submit a ticket on studyinsaudi.sa
3. Comment here so we can understand the scale of this issue

Hey everyone!

I’m currently preparing my application for the Master’s program in Information Technology (Advanced Information Technology) at King Abdulaziz University (r/KAU) using the Study in Saudi portal, and I had a few key questions for anyone who has gone through the process or is currently enrolled:

• Application Timeline: Does anyone know when the application portal typically reopens for the next intake, or what the general timeline looks like for international applicants?
• Applying in Final Semester: I am currently in my final semester (completed up to 4th year, 1st semester / 4-1). Are final-year students eligible to apply using current official transcripts with provisional/conditional acceptance until the final degree certificate is submitted upon graduation?
• Language Proficiency (IELTS / MOI): Can we submit the application prior to taking the IELTS exam or receive a conditional offer contingent on submitting the score before enrollment? Has anyone successfully used a Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate for initial screening?
• Prerequisites & Department Details: Are there specific prerequisite course requirements for the Advanced IT program, or any direct departmental guidelines/contacts for international applicants that I should keep in mind?

Any advice, insights, or previous experiences with the application process would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I am very interested in learning the Arabic language and have recently come across an institute at King Abdulaziz University (KAU). However, I am unable to find sufficient reviews or detailed information online about the program.

If anyone has information regarding this diploma, such as admission requirements, course structure, experience, or outcomes, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. I'd also like to connect with anyone who has already completed this diploma.

Jazakallahu Khairan
