Shop recommendations for vehicle pre-purchase inspection
I'm looking at car at a dealership in Kentville but it has zero service history on the carfax. Does anyone have any recommendations on shops that would do a good pre-purchase inspection to rule out any major neglect?

I don’t have a mechanic to recommend, only to say that what you are doing is one of the smartest steps you can take when buying a car. Best money you’ll ever spend is a one hour labor charge at a shop to find out you do not want that car.

Butts. It’s been there for 50 years for a reason. They charged my less than $40, but that was 4 years ago, could’ve increased a little. I’ve never felt “ripped off” by them, and there’s been more than once when I sort of gave them a “blank cheque” which they could’ve easily abused.
