If only this dude had better hands. He was also trying too hard to chase the same KO he had the last fight. He's got a mean and fast high kick but even that kinda loses efficacy when its the only shot your opponent has to worry about. Works even less against someone with an infamously tight highguard.

Also did himself no favors when it got to the point that a long/lazy combo was the giveaway from when he'd throw it. Noiri would only throw big shots after he confirmed the kick wasnt coming and Siasarani was giving up points for free with it.

Training Tips for a good uppercut

So guys I started kb about a year ago and I've gotten good, I can throw Good jabs, left hands (I'm a southpaw), hooks, front kicks, roundhouses and back kicks. So my issue is that I can't quite get my uppercut right. I throw it and it either veers like a shovel hook, or its just sluggish. Idk really how to describe it. It just doesn't feel right if you know what I mean. So.. any tips guys?

Training 3 months in - trouble blocking

Hey all im 38 and I just passed 3 months in at a local kickboxing gym. I'm mostly doing it for the boxercise to lose weight and get in better shape, but have done a few of the "fight camp" classes where we pair up and do some combat drills. When im on defense I feel so damn awkward. I can turtle and eat punches but feel like even that im doing wrong. Don't get me started on trying to parry (maybe my reaction speed just sucks now cause im old). Havent worked on dodging at all since usually were instructed not to so ignoring that option.

Something almost clicked for me last class when my partner told me to "relax" lol. I feel like I did a bit better for a while but soon lost that feeling.

Besides the obvious "more training, eat more punches", is there any advice you can offer to make me feel less dogshit at this? Did anyone else struggle with this when they started?

How do I condition my legs so I don’t feel pain?

I’ve got bruises from kicking the bag as hard as I can to condition them. How do I get them to stop hurting and how long does it take for them to stop hurting? Should I use a wooden spoon? Does that work? What else can I do?

How long does it take to feel no pain?
